With everything going on in a full house, this litter has been reliable for keeping odor under control without needing to scoop constantly throughout the day. Clumps form tight and solid, easy to scoop out clean without breaking apart or leaving loose litter behind. Low tracking compared to other litters we’ve tried — not finding granules scattered across the floor constantly. I've used a couple of unscented litters since I got my baby a few months back since I heard scented isn’t great for the kitty. But, the smell was always so gross and I felt like my baby didn’t wanna use the litter box because it got stinky even with 2x daily scooping. I gave this a try because of the great reviews and wow! I love it! The smell isn’t too intense and he doesn’t seem to mind it either. It clumps way better and works well with my stainless steel litter box. I like it!

Love this litter! It smells great and keeps odors at bay. The clumping formula makes cleaning the litter box much easier. I will continue to buy :)

My favorite fit my robotic cat box

My cat only wants to use this so this is what I get. It clumps, making it easy to scoop. It is very dusty and a lot of times when my cat jumps out of the litter box, she will end up bringing some grains out with her, so you’ll need to vacuum around the area often unless you want to keep stepping on this stuff. It does smell fresh and clean but you should change it out after maybe 3 weeks because the fresh scent won’t really be as fresh anymore. Sometimes it gets stuck to my cat’s butt as well and it’s pretty difficult to remove and I’d end up having to shave off some of the fur there.

I absolutely love mountain fresh cat liter. It smells so good when there in their pan scratching. I was buying it krogers but they haven't had it in quite a while.

I read all the glowing reviews before pulling the trigger on this rather pricey litter. I was skeptical, but the reviews convinced me to try it. I needed to switch litters because I had previously been using pine litter, but it required a specific type of litterbox that no longer would fit in my new house. I was really, really concerned about two things. First of all, tracking. The entire reason I switched from clay litter to pine litter originally was because of the tracking. I don't want to see little pieces of litter on my kitchen chairs. That is absolutely disgusting. My cat tracked clay litter everywhere, and this litter looked a lot like clay litter. I was really expecting to see little litter pieces all over the house within a couple of days of trying this stuff out, but I never did. I still haven't. I can hear my cat digging and scratching around in it like crazy and yet it doesn't appear anywhere else. I'm not sure how this magic works, but it works. Secondly, I was very concerned about smell. Previously, I had the litterbox in an unfinished basement room that didn't get a ton of foot traffic. That worked great because pine litter doesn't help with the smell at all, and it could get stinky. At my new place, there was no such obvious spot to put the litterbox, and long story short, I ended up having to put it basically right in the living room. Yikes. But there is never any smell. I see poop and urine in the box, and VERY rarely RIGHT when the cat defecates I might smell something for a few seconds, but the litter absolutely demolishes the smell. This is a very big deal considering how limited my options for litterbox location were. I honestly forget to scoop sometimes because I easily forget that it's even there, which is wild considering that it's right in the middle of everything. This litter is worth every dollar. And it is quite a few dollars, especially since if you are scooping frequently you will go through it. But if you need litter that is just going to stay put and not derail your life every ten minutes, this is one to at least try.

. . . and Extreme Clumping is what it does, in addition to doing a great job of minimizing odor. This is the litter I'll be using from now on.

Nice product and lighter in weight to handle than others. It doesn't clump into really solid 'cakes' - compared to other A&H litters but it doesn't track and has a nice odour that doesn't overpower but remains throughout the use. All the A&H litters are good - they just vary in weight and clumping textures. Recommend any and all of them.

Lately the price for this formulation has gone crazy high, but it is my favorite on. It lasts and lasts and my house never smells like a cat house! I won't buy anymore till the price is reasonable though.
