I waited until I have used this deshedding tool many times now. It works great, so far its still in perfect shape. It can be used in loop position or slide apart the handle and have a long flexible tool. I originally was worried about the metal teeth which it has on both edges smaller side and larger size teeth but I have no issues with it hurting my dogs skin . But I will say be mindful to not comb them too heavy handed because it is metal and besides grooming should be pleasant for our pets 😉 I will say use caution if you have a older dog senior dog that has looser skin 1 of my dogs is senior and has looser skin in some areas in those areas I just place my hand in a position to help hold his skin a little and I do use a much lighter hand when grooming him, my other dog she is almost 2 years old and no loose skin and she has much more dense coat short coat but dense she is a pitbull I think she is fullblooded but she possibly could be mixed with another breed even though she looks just like a pitbull and she is the biggest baby ever and sweetest, most loving dog I have ever had, I heard all the bad rumors about her breed but she is none of that even after some terrible humans abused ,neglected, starved her. Anyway sorry about that, she was shedding soooo much I couldn't believe where and how all that extra fur was coming from lol 😆 but this deshedding tool has been a game changer and now as long as I take her outside in yard once a week and spend about 10 minutes maybe less since I do it weekly there is NOWHERE near the hair in my house, floors, furniture. And I have 2 dogs both weighing 60 plus pounds each and 2 cats one of which is fluffy long hair kitty, the other is a medium-short haired kitty and yes I do use this on my cats too and it works well but they still prefere their other brush picky kitties. Obviously I still have some animal hair but nothing like I was battling beforehand. Not to mention the price of this ,it was cheap and it works very well. My only regret is not finding this deshedding tool a lot sooner I think my vacuum is much happier now too

When I first used this, I thought it was very flimsy, and I considered trying to return it. I just used it again on my 45lb dog and realized the handle slides apart. The brush was much more effective this way, and I got a ton of fur off my dog! He has a double coat, and this brush got a bunch of the undercoat to come off. Definitely recommend

Easy to clean! My cat loves it ! Very high quality no rust! Very pet friendly and versatile! It has made grooming my cat easier to help with his shedding.

Great tool for dogs with short or medium length fur. Worked great for almost 2 years with daily use, then broke - the metal piece snapped where it connects to the handle. So. I suppose these days, for 10 bucks, you get 22 months of use. I am buying another because I like it and it works until it breaks.

I have a pitty mix and she has always shed sooo much. She also hates being brushed. My groomer showed me these brushes, I tried it and it works great!! I get so much hair off her and she doesn't mind it?! So ya 5 stars !!!

I got a chance to try this out on my horse during evening chores. The teeth are a longer length, which I really like. However, when it is in use it is flimsy and prevents you from keeping any leverage on it. It lessens the surface area you are able to use since it does not stay in contact nicely with the horses body. I don't use these "unfolded" so I can only speak to their use in their curved form. The handle is nice as well as the overall design but the metal needs to be sturdier.

Mannnnn ive tried everything brush out there for shedding and this one is the golden tool!! The fact the handle can separate and become one long shedding blade and i can conform it to my cats body to cover a broader range of hair is beyond exciting. I went at my orange psycho for an hour and I made a blanket lmao 🤣 please if you do this make sure youre outside or in a contained area to help with the blankets of hair that will go flying around. My cat hated all brushed but this shedding blade he leans into!!! And for this price what the helly!!! 10 out of 10 recommend to any pet owner who has a shedding pet of any kind! Dogs, cats, rabbits, anything that sheds pretty much lol it glides smoothly, doesnt harm my pets skin, value is amazing, and the appearance is perfect!

It has two different size teeth on each side. I wasn’t sure this would be the right thing for my cats. Turns out they love it. Now they all come running if I start using this on one cat. Be prepared. Do it outside if you can. There will be so much hair. More than you think. Even my short hair cats had a lot. The tool was higher quality than I was expecting. Soft rubber grip and feels sturdy.
