it works with FL only? can i use with live 10?

AKAI support here! Technically, the Fire will be recognized in Live 10, but since the pads can't be reassigned, it may not trigger Live 10 in the desired way. If you're using Live 10, I would highly recommend checking out our APC line of controllers instead. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or email us using the contact information on akaipro.com/support.

I do not currently use/own fl studio, *ableton/reason*. what seperates the included copy of fl studio from fl studio 20?

AKAI support here! The included FL Studio Fire Edition is the exact same as FL Studio 20 Fruity Edition ($99 version). If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or email us using the contact information on akaipro.com/support.

Can i play the akai fire in conjunction with the akai mini pro?

AKAI support here! The MPK MINI MKII and Fire can work in conjunction with each other in FL Studio. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or email us using the contact information on akaipro.com/support.

I am currently running fl studio 12. do i need to update to fl 20 or fl fruity fire edition to use this hardware?

AKAI support here! FL Studio 20 or FL Studio Fire Edition will be needed in order to use the Fire. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or email us using the contact information on akaipro.com/support.
