Imagine my dismay, however, when suddenly it wouldn't turn on. Upon opening it up to see if a battery change was the ticket I found that my "Fully waterproof to a depth of one meter" product was COMPLETELY FULL OF RUST. Contacts to complete the circuit required to power the device are rusted near to clean through. Granted, this bad boy has been with me for roughly two years at this point, but it hasn't been submerged in over a year and other than the usual environment expected of regular use and maintainence of a toy like this it has come no where near testing or exceeding that waterproof guarantee.
