A: Yes, it is only 1 box but it makes 12 dumplings, twice as many as an ordinary box.

A: They come in individual mesh bags. You drop the number of bags (servings) you need in boiling water. Not sure about what you would use them for other than round German potato dumplings.

Word of advise, Don't buy the dumplings that come with mixing bag, they don't taste the same. This right here is the only brand my german wife will make.. I don't get them often enough..
