SR SUN RISE 16 Inch Ceiling Mount Rain Shower System,Polished Chrome

I purchased the 16 inch matte black kit for my newly remodeled shower stall, and I am in LOVE! The oversized rain-shower is amazing for my space, and the handheld is a bonus for rinsing my hair or bathing the dogs. For reference, my shower stall measures 3ft x 5ft. There is very little room outside the downpour of water with this size; but there is enough space for me to breath right outside of it, and the head DOES pivot and swivel to practically any position you need it to (including a side angle). Because we completely gutted the entire shower (including the walls) installation and plumbing assembly was extremely easy. We did have to be very careful cutting out the openings for the handheld housing though - because of its small faceplate there is very little room for error. If the opening isn’t big enough you won’t be able to fully screw the attachment on, but too big and you’ll have gaps in your tile around it. The valve did have a really small leak at first, but we added a bit more tape to the fittings and that solved the problem. We waited 3 days to ensure there were no leaks (and there wasn’t after adding more tape) my best guess is since our pipes are older, we just needed a bit more tape then usual to get a good seal. The handheld mount also has an attached swivel piece as well so you can adjust it up and down to get the proper angle you want. It also allows you to tighten it if you choose to not utilize the swivel aspect of it. NOTE: We DID NOT use the included 12 inch drop pole for the shower head. For some reason.... it doesn’t really bother me though as much as I thought it would. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and very pleased with the entire kit! I loved that it came with EVERYTHING you need to install too (unless you want a different drop pole height for the shower head of course.) And unless you already have your plumbing set up for a shower head and handheld - I don’t really think this would be all that easy for a finished bathroom looking for an accessory upgrade. I do highly recommend this for those who plan to remodel their tile though. It makes the job much easier!

I was worried about this product but it is amazing. I have a large shower with two separate shower systems, a Delta that cost over $1,500 and this. I don’t see any difference in quality. The valve behind the tile is real copper and high quality. The 16 inch rainhead is drenching and gives a high volume of water.

This is a beautiful shower set and something we weren't able to find locally in Puerto Rico. We wanted to avoid the bulky shower systems and any extra shower jets but we also wanted a handheld and rainfall system, so this fit the bill perfectly. Our installer had no problems replacing our old, leaky mixer with this one, and the rest of the install went smoothly, no issues at all. It's a little pricey for the 16" version, and I don't love the big, white logos, but overall I'm totally in love with this look! In my opinion, it's definitely worth it. Once the bathroom is complete, I'll update the photos.

Oh, my - I think this is the best shower I've ever taken, even compared to luxury resorts. We have fairly lower water flow - just 3-4 gallons per minute, once the pressure tank drains. Despite that, this head never used that much, and the water flow provided was amazing. Solidly constructed, the unit looks great, and performs even better. We opted to mount the wand on an adjustable vertical grab bar, and used a Kohler solid brass elbow to hook it up to the wall side. The rain head is at 9'. I'm over 6' and for most of my life I've had to stoop to get my head wet - no more!

Good Quality Shower. Water pressure is also good. Customer service is also nice. Mat black coating is coming off from shower hose. However, customer service is taking care of this issue. I recommend this shower system.

I installed this shower back in 2021, and it has held up exceptionally well! The black paint, the internals, and the handheld shower piece are all in excellent condition. The only issue that arose this year, 2025, was with the rainfall shower head. However, I promptly sent an email to SR, and they sent me a replacement fairly quickly. I truly appreciate their excellent customer support.

So, we just replaced our bathroom and really wanted a separate shower and tub. Wife and I do not necessarily agree on water temps and or pressure, so I wanted to give this a try. Handheld with some power and a rain head large enough to cover my whole body without doing a jig in the small small we call a shower. Sunrise delivered on both. Good pressure coming from the handheld and a steady even flow of rain drops in a 16" by 16" area that at 8 feet gives the sensation of a light rain shower. Took my friend a day to install the whole thing after ripping out our wall. Everything needed was included and there were no kinks in the install.

The SR Sunrise shower system is an amazing product. The plumber who installed the SR Sunrise shower was extremely impressed with the build quality and performance. He said he will recommend this product to his clients and will be buying one for his own home which says alot! I emailed Sunrise to acquire spare shower cartridges and they were shipped to my door in a couple of days. I could not be happier with the service and experienced first hand how Sunrise takes care of their customers. Very impressive and highly recommended. Five stars!

Shower head is peeling and rusting after a couple months of use. Do not buy! Pure junk. Have to purchase a new shower head after spending 600 on this unit. China garbage!!!
