Our old Time Warner/Spectrum remote control was just about worn out. Many of the buttons had all their writing worn off and a couple buttons only worked if you pushed them "just right". We had a functionally equivalent remote from the cable company but it was not identical and we didn't want to learn a "new" remote. (First world problem, right?). I looked on ebay for a remote equivalent to our worn out remote and found few available and I had reservations about buying something that was used and may be no better than what I had. I looked on Amazon and found this great deal. Two remotes that are functionally AND physically identical to my "old faithful" remote! And the price for two remotes was about what I was willing to pay for a single remote! Truly a win/win proposition. When I received them, the good news continued. They were truly in new condition and there was an "Owner's Manual" included. The manual is necessary because you need to know the code(s) for your non-DVR equipment you wish to control with the remote. These new remotes have some welcome features that the old remote did not have like backlit buttons. I had to supply 2 AA batteries for each remote but the seller stated that. I am very happy with this purchase!

This is the best remote for the Time Warner DVR’s. We fortunately still have one that allows 6 shows to be taped at once. This remote makes it easier to navigate the tv, cable box/DVR. Great price too.

I have spectrum cable. The remote works better than the remotes from spectrum. Easy to program to my Sharp TV too. The cost was way less than ordering from spectrum

My Time Warner remote had a blue time warner logo on the bottom. The replacement had a white time warner logo on the bottom. According to Phat Satellite customer service, it turns out the remote with the white logo WILL NOT work if your old remote had a blue logo because they are programmed for different cable boxes. Phat Satellite customer service was very prompt about getting back to me and offering a refund, but this should have been made clear up front. Delivery was prompt, the product was great -- just the wrong item so it wouldn't work for me. Amazon should make this distinction clear. Effectively they are different products, even though both say RC122.

Our one-year-old loves playing with our remote but that’s not very practical when you’re trying to watch tv, so these are a great way for her to think she has the remote without having the real deal. Great price too! Thanks!
