MMF Industries Secure-A-Pen Counter Pen

I thought this would be a good alternative to the pens sold at Staples. Well, first the pen lasted only a very short time before it ran out of ink. Second, WHAT is the point of allowing people to unhook the pen?! There is a link in the chain that makes it detachable, which I did not realize was there when I purchased it. Do you know how many people pulled the thing apart?! So many people that I can't recommend this pen even for the garbage dump. Absolutely the worst pen design it is ANYTHING but "secure."

Great for places where pens just "disappear". No problems with this pen going anywhere unless you purposely remove it to take it off to replace it with another one. That is a clever design on the part of the designer so that when the pen runs out of ink you can replace it. So far I love the item and pens no longer disappear!

Pens write very well, and are comfortable to use. Chains are of a comfortable length. My only complaint is on one the plastic base popped loose from the sticky pad, making the chain come loose. And that was most likely caused by some customer being a destructive jerk. Other than that, great product.

I needed a pen for my wall calendar. It sticks perfectly and writes well.

Bought this for a friend's business and found that this sticks really well to any surface. I put this on a flat wooden desk and stuck really well and also put this more of a porous area and after holding it for 30 seconds it was stuck on. Don't really have any complaints. It writes well and the chain is just the perfect length.

Ordered this as a gag gift for my therapist because someone keeps stealing her pens. So I give this a 5 star rating for both its conceptual ability function as a joke gift and for its practical ability to stop pen thieves. It also writes decently enough.

The adhesive was dried out. I cannot even adhere them to the clipboard I wanted to send my technicians out with. And no, it was not because they wouldn't stick. I took off the sticker backing paper and it was literally dust under. If it weren't more of a headache than it is worth I would ask for refund.

Bought a few of these already. Love them. Usually get one a year once ink runs out. Great way to KEEP the pen on my desk and someone not stealing it every few days... My personal pen.

As described and shipped quickly, very pleased would buy again.

They are working as intended. They stick well to the surface and write smoothly. No complaints.
