That being said, applying it properly is recommended. I don't recommend using your fingers and sticking them into the foundation. Invest in a small spatula tool to take the foundation out of the container and then use the tool of your choice to apply to your face. I prefer using the Beauty Blender with this because it provided the most natural look and applied evenly. I have very dark under eye circles and scarring from acne and I was very pleased I didn't have to use a lot of product to cover everything. My normal makeup routine is applying corrector, foundation, concealer, and sometimes even more stuff over of that. This was full coverage enough that I did not need much else, I did use a little concealer with it (Beccas ultimate coverage concealing cream) in my very dark areas. Some people like to set the foundation with Ben Nye Banana powder, I actually prefer Makeup Forever HD powder. I can't stress enough that you don't need a lot of this, that it does not feel heavy, that it looks like skin, it's breathable, but you do need to apply it correctly, and for me it helped to set it with powder. It is a creme texture. It does not show up matte or too hydrated, it just really looks like natural skin. The #3 palette works well for yellow undertone- I am South Asian and this was perfect for me. I am a makeup snob because of my skin issues and wanting everything evenly covered. I think this palette is great for a professional makeup artist because it has a variety of color choices and does what it says. It's also small and portable. However, it is good for someone who is not a makeup artist who is trying to find the right shade. Cinema Secrets lists the names of each color in the palette on the bottom so you can order the exact color match for you (Cinema Secrets sells the individual shades as well). I am so pleased that I am considering trying more Cinema Secrets products.
