Passive return is indicated for antenna systems. For cable TV with a cable modem active return may work better. Active Return should not be used with an antenna.

Only if the attic temperature never exceeds 140 degrees, year round.

No. Daisy chaining has a high probability of failure, and is strongly discouraged. If you need more that 8 ports it is better to use a 2-way splitter to feed 2 separate amplifiers.

Q: May I use this product to split an fm signal from an antennae and send it to my recveivers and equipment which uses a coaxial cable fm connect?

I don't see why not, the fm frequencies use the same antenna as vhf and as long as you have an antenna with that capability I believe so. The splitter/booster just distributes the signal equally between each connection so there is no signal loss from too many splits. Yes,it can be used for this purpose
