I've been using it for the last four years. Though there is no pull, the center of my hair, though used to be the longer part of my hair, is now the absolute shortest. So somehow, the PuffCuff "chokes" off the center of my hair (I use it to wear one big afro puff on top). They do break, so I go through about three per year. I have tried a different type of hair clip, but it pulled. What I am doing now it removing the PuffCuff once I get home and am in for the rest of the night because I was wearing it 24/7. So I will see if this allows the center of my hair to "breath" and grow. I would recommend using it, but not to the extent I use it.
