Storex 24 Compartment Organizer

I am a elementary school teacher. I bought 2 of these for the classroom because I could not risk a flimsy cardboard mailbox with a classroom full of 9 and 10 year olds. They are sturdy and easy to put together. You can put things like a printer on top without a problem. The plastic will chip or crack if the unit dropped so be careful when moving them (move one level at a time). The only problem I have is the kids will knock the clear plastic covering off the labels and lose them the labels drop off when they are getting their folders out of the mailbox. When this happens I type a new name label and glue it in place with Elmer's glue. Otherwise the product is nice.

Teacher here! I ordered this product and it first came to me warped from the heat. If it does not fit together like legos or snap cubes, send it back. My replacement product was a piece of cake to put together. It's sturdy and it's exactly what I needed. The slots aren't completely solid on the bottom, but I don't have a problem with that. This is a great alternative to the heavy wood ones that I hear are flimsy (and more expensive).

I purchased two of these in gray. The first one that arrived snapped together perfectly and looks fantastic. The 2nd one was warped and wouldn't fit together properly, so I exchanged it. Unfortunately the replacement was also warped and they were out of stock, so I had to just accept the defect. Amazon did discount my cost, but 2 out of the 3 I received were warped which are not great odds. If you're not in a hurry to use them, it worth the risk since Amazon has a good return policy. The perfect one really is much sturdier and nicer than any of the cardboard alternatives.

Being a teacher, I have tried and purchased numerous "mailbox systems" over the years. This is, by FAR, the best one ever!!! It was simple to assemble and it's sturdy, functional and very high quality. I am thrilled with this purchase.

Item delivered quickly, but three shelves broken. Easy to assemble and suitable for my purposes, but the quoted price was far less than the actual price ($25 difference for each unit), so it appears to have been deceptive advertising. Finally, it holds a lot of paper, but the shelf bottoms have holes in them (by design), so the corners of papers keep snagging and getting bent. To make this right, the seller should refund me $75 and send me three more shelves.

DON'T BOTHER!!! When I got it, there were no instructions except in French and only how to put the little rubber feet on the bottom. It was filthy out of the box with what I can only imagine is grease or dark oil of some sort. It was supposed to be easy to put together, but while one side would "snap" in, the other was misaligned and to get that to snap you had to stretch it. Then that side would snap in and the other would pop out. I had to use brute force to snap the back in, and even with my 200+ frame bearing directly down on it, it took a good whack to get the pieces to snap in. While this was happening, because of the misalignment, multiple little tabs popped off. For the kind of money I paid for this POS, I could have gotten the cardboard and pasteboard deal. VERY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED.

I was hoping for $85 that this would be a better product than the cardboard models I've used in the past. Positive: It is so simple that a toddler could put it together. Negative: The shelves don't snap and stay locked. To keep the top two shelves locked down I've had to place heavy items on the top. If you don't have heavy office ornaments or a handy cinderblock, choose a different organizer.

I've had this for over two years and as a middle school teacher of literature and science, this it just what I needed to have handouts ready for three grade levels! It is study and has held up well under student use. I am debating the purchase of a second one for the mountains of paperwork that keeps coming for teachers!

Perfect for my classroom needs. Stores journals, worksheets and reading material for visiting rotary students. They're feeling very important and part of my classroom since receiving their own 'mailboxes'. Sturdy enough to handle the traffic (better than the cardboard versions) and individual name windows.
