My father has esophagus cancer and had to end up getting a feeding tube. He has done nothing but complain that it takes too long to do feedings via the feeding tube and does only 2 feedings a day (2 together twice a day) because heaven forbid he might miss out on smoking a cigarette or watching a game on tv. Was hoping that if I bought this, he would do the recommended amount (5) and do one about every 2 hours which would be a lot better for him and possibly give him a tad bit of energy. Figured this way he could still watch tv and smoke his damn cigarettes and stop bitching that it takes too long to use the feeding tube. Well, he said it works great but he still just does his 2 feedings a day because he refuses to do anything that will actually help him. Bought this so he could bring it with him out to the living room and even outside on the patio, but he still only does the feedings in the kitchen so he still won't do anymore feedings which would help him out immensely. Bottom line, great for those with feeding tubes as long as they are not too damn stubborn.
