Is it Manfroto or another?** A: I don’t know who makes this for ugo but it does have the metal plate like Manfroto. **Q: Can it be used with other pochade boxes like gurella 9x12 box Can I use this with a 9x12 Gurella pochade box?** A: The product is equipped with a universal 1/4 inch threaded tripod mount. It will fit any product that has this mount. **Q: Is the head ball metal or plastic?** A: It looks like metal to me. It supported a 7 lb box . No problem. It was just a try out. Will know more later. **Q: What brands of quick release plates fit a u.go tripod?** A: It comes with a quick release plate. I attached it to my box that had a plate to screw it into. Then the plate will slide into the tripod part. I am not terribly mechanical.
