Great for the basement
I have a very low ceiling in my basement, I got tired of looking at the hanging light bulbs and was looking for a solution. I searched Amazon for some time and finally came upon these lights. For the price I think they are great, they are bright and low profile, perfect for my situation. Very easy to install and came with all the hardware necessary. I also added a dimmer and they do not flicker. Had them for about two months with no issues so far, installed about 12 of them. I liked them so much I bought another set as a back up when these start burning out.

Good for the money
Excellent lights, was going to use 6 per bedroom, decided on only 4 per room. The back does get a little warm, and that isn't good for electronics. I simply opened up the sheetrock behind the light to allow heat to dissipate.

According to the manufacturer is energy efficient. Moder lines and good brightness. Requires practice and some time to assemble, even though the instructions are not clear as to how to install the springs. You have to figure it out. Once assemble installation is simple if you are replacing lights and have an existing canister with a female adapter.
