Love this knife... I have not used it for fileting, but use it to cut Deer meat off the bone. Works great, perfect size and is very sharp. The handle feels nice in yiur hand and doesn't slip if your hands get a little nasty. Great knife especially for the price. Comes with everything for you to keep it razor sharp and instructions on how to sharpen it

This is great filet knife especially if you like Northern Pike, this is one of the best knives I have used for getting the y-bones out. I bought one of these knives for my fishing partner and my son also. Edge retention could be better but a couple swipes on the sharpener and your back in business.

Very Nice packaging. Comes with the sheath and a sharpener. All in a nice box. The blade is a bit stiff not flexible so I'm losing some meat on my fish filets.The blade itself is sharp and the handle is comfortable.

This is a great fillet knife! First, every knife that comes with a sheath gets an extra star in my book. Leather is nice, but for knives that will stay wet most of the times, kydex/plastic is better. The knife stays secure in its plastic sheath, it's easy to take it out (thumb push) and put it back in the sheath one-handed - at least for me. The handle has a very secure grip (due to it's rubberized material - the blue part) and also the guard works pretty well protecting your hand from slipping forward. The blade is flexible, but not overly, which I prefer - gives more control when making precise cuts. It came pretty sharp, I was able to make paper slices easily - the way I test all my knives when I get them. Have not used it enough to have an opinion on the non-stick coating, yet. Overall, a very good quality knife!

I have owned many filet knives in my time, but the 6.5 inch Rhinoreto is the best I have ever owned. The knife is razor sharp with only a couple of passes through the sharpener provided. For me, the blade is a perfect size and shape. It virtually glides through the fish flesh and rib bones for a perfect filet. I fish primarily for Bass and Redfish and generally do not keep anything less than 2.5 pounds. The first time I used the Rhinoreto, I could hardly believe how easy it was to filet a 3 pound bass. The handle makes for a secure, safe grip and the sheath is very easy to remove and return to the knife. Having the sharpener in my tackle box is a plus. I haven't tried the knife for skinning, but have no doubt it will work perfectly. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product and well worth the price. I will have it in my tackle box for years to come.

Definitely not razor sharp. Not good for filleting meat.

This in a excellent filet knife. Very durable, extra sharp. Very easy to use. The size of the filet knife is excellent for fileting larger size fish. Looks and feels nice in the hand. The sharpener, can be assembled a little stronger. Mine had a broken piece inside, but was able to fix it and put it back together.

I think the sharpness is not that lasting when filleting fish. Maybe the steel material or Hardness is no high enough
