UK Exclusive Collector's Edition Set. Featuring 16 Blu-ray discs with Hours of Revealing Materials, Including Additional Scenes, Interviews with J.K. Rowling and the Filmmakers, Tours of Hogwarts Secrets, Moviemaking Magic Uncovered, and Warner Bros. Maximum Movie Mode. Includes the complete 8-Part Documentary Series 'Creating the World of Harry Potter'. Review: Affordable Blu-ray Collection - This is a great collection. I spent a lot of time trying to decide what collection to buy. The regular 8 film Blu-ray collection seemed like a quickly thrown together, cheap set. Many reviews said the same thing. So, I did what some other customers suggested, I got the UK version. This is definitely the way to go. The UK film collection is of a better quality and costs less than the American version. It is region free so it plays on all Blu-ray players. Don't make the mistake of thinking you can do the same with the DVD collection because those are all region locked. This is more affordable and just all around better value. It even has bonus features, which I love. To sum it up, the UK version costs less, gives you more, and isn't some cheap looking little collection. Review: Absolutely love this Blu-ray Set!! - First I LOVE how this set is put together. There are 16 blu-ray disc's. The Movies and a Ton of added bonus disc's. Any Fan should have this Awesome Set. And the Price! Phenomenal. Also. I have seen reviews saying that they were upset that the first movie is The Philosopher's Stone. A TRUE Harry fan would know that it is actually the ORIGINAL. And was released as such in the UK. For marketing purposes in the US it was changed to The Sorcerer's Stone. I being in the US am over the moon to have it as it was meant to be!!!! A MUST HAVE for a true fan!!!

3 Faces of Harry Version Works in the US
Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection [Blu-ray] https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00543RC0Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 or the item mentioned in the review by Code Red: "3 Faces of Harry" collection -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AQNOCZ0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 For reference, my Blu-ray player, the Oppo BDP-103D (not the 103) was released in 2013. I mention this because at that time getting the machien to be region free meant adding separate hardware and I did not do that. Code Red mentions, "...There are versions that you need to be aware of that are MAY NOT be playable in the U.S. It's another collection that is European made and most of the time, the discs are not playable on North American Blu-Ray Players." Good advice! This is true because movie studios regionalize their releases. The 3 Faces of Harry version (3FH) has two symbols on it's front: Irish Film Classification Office and the British Board of Film Classification, so it seems like a European release. Still, I wanted this one in particular due to the amazing amount of extra content available. If you check out blu (dash) ray dot com there is a listing there for this specific 3FH version. Click on the region coding tab and see that people actually test the regions and post on that site. Very handy. Also very handy to see that Region A is confirmed for everyone who tested it. Either the collection is released region free, or my player has been region free all along. I think the former is most likely. So with much trepidation, I opened my 3FH box set, hoping it would work, and still concerned that maybe it wouldn't. Guess what? IT WORKS! All discs play just fine. The audio seems fine as well, no issues. The set is in 4 small books with sleeves, not a standard disc box with the plastic tabs. I think there is opportunity to scratch them getting them in and out, or add oily popcorn fingerprints, but that could likely happen with any storage style. I am beyond delighted that I'll be able to see the entire series!

I'll save you the CONFUSION!
I want to help clarify the difference between the 2 affordable Harry Potter Blu-Ray series, to you all. I've been back and forth on which to buy for the last several months. When searching on Amazon for this set, you'll notice that there are 2 sets, both with all 8 movies, both with the same number of reviews. There is usually between an $8-$15 difference in price between the 2. These are INDEED different, regardless of how similar they are described. Here's why… I'll start with the blu-ray that has 3 differently aged Harry's on the cover. You'll notice that it is bigger than the other collection being sold. What they don't tell you is that the discs are in 4 separate cases, 2 movies in each case. There are also 11 discs, not just 8. But to be clear on this, the 3 extra discs are just bonus content from the last 3 movies. All of the other movies have the bonus features on the same disc. There is a ton of extra content on each disc. You'll also notice, from a side view picture, the list of movies that are in the box. The first says, "The Philosopher's Stone", rather than "The Sorcerer's Stone". Don't worry, it's not a bootleg copy. It's the English (UK) version of the set. The U.S. version changed the name for marketing purposes and it doesn't affect anything about the set. Now for the OTHER set being sold: This set, with the cover being of the castle, is smaller and more compact. This is because it has an insert that unfolds with all movies attached to each fold. It's neater, takes up less space, and in my opinion, looks more like the set it should be. However, this set contains only 8 discs (1 for each movie), with NO Bonus Content discs. I know about this set because It is the same that I borrowed from a friend. So, there's not much of a difference here. I bought the bigger looking box because of the extra content and it was cheaper. The other box looks more like a classic collection but lacks content. Still, any Harry Potter Collection is worth buying. You'll always have an urge to watch it again and again (I watch the series twice a year). The Blu-Ray makes a huge difference in quality over DVD, so if you have a good TV and a Blu-Ray player, you have to go Blu-Ray. Hope this helped! ***UPDATE April 2017*** There's been a little more confusion because Amazon has added a couple other collections and newer Blu-rays of single movie of Harry Potter. It has been more difficult to search for collections so i've made it easier for you. Here are the links for the above mentioned collections that I reviewed: "3 Faces of Harry" collection (currently $65 on Amazon) -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AQNOCZ0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 "Hogwarts Castle Cover" collection (currently $60 on Amazon) -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005OCFHHK/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk Amazon has changed their Harry Potter supply lately. I'm not sure why, but Amazon has combined ALL reviews for different H.P. collections into one, leaving it difficult to distinguish between them all. Now it's hard to tell what any review is for. If my links are not highlighted, just copy and paste them. ***If you Search "Harry Potter Blu Ray Collection", it WILL NOT show you the "3 Faces" collection so please use the link that i've provided above*** ***I would also like to make an important note of feedback from readers. There are versions that you need to be aware of that are MAY NOT be playable in the U.S. It's another collection that is European made and most of the time, the discs are not playable on North American Blu-Ray Players. Obviously if you're reading this and you live in Europe, it'll work for you. I've started to notice those little numbers on the cover that have an Octogon with a number in the center. It means Irish Film Classification Office. They're definitely European made discs. Buy at your own risk though. One reader wrote that they played on his Playstation but couldn't comment on a Blu-Ray Player.*** This should still help everyone.I will continue to update as needed in order to help you. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has created another buzz in the world of Harry Potter. If you haven't seen the movie, it is "Fantastic"! AND IT'S COMING OUT ON BLU-RAY SOON!!!!!!!!! RIP Alan Rickman, aka Severus Snape! You are missed by all Fans. Thanks for reading! If you liked this review, you may like my other ones on various products helpful as well. [...]. Thanks again!

I bought this collection (the blu-ray discs) because I'm a big fan of the series. I was missing the first film and the sixth one (I didn't get it because I was disappointed from it). I have the other films on DVD and the last one (part 2) on Blu-ray. This set is exactly what I wanted. It has all the films and is really cheap. I was reading the other comments of people saying there are lots of ads and the films are grainy. In my case is exactly the other way. The films are perfectly presented in HD and all of the films except the last one (only two ads) don't feature any ads. The discs are situated in standard blu-ray boxes with good quality. They don't feel cheap. The discs are like from the individual releases. On the discs of the first five movies it says on them "FOR RENTAL OR RESALE". This is not a problem at all for me because as I said the quality is HD and there are no ads. Though this releases don't feature a lot of language options or subtitle I'm perfectly fine with this. When you put the discs in the player the films start momentarily but if you call the menu you'll see that there is a lot of bonus material included there. The other three films are exactly as the individual blu-ray releases (featuring bonus discs for each) with lots of language and subtitle options. I compared my individual copy of DH part 2 with the one from the set and they are identical as size (GBs of the discs) and quality. There is a minor differences in the menus and the set's one features one ad more but this is normal because my release is intended for my region (I'm from Bulgaria). I'm really happy with the set and I recommend it to every fan that wants to complete their collection. I do believe it will also be a good present for every HP fan that is still missing some of the films or just wants to experience them in HD.

Ein Super Paket das für die Harry Potter Fans ein muss ist. Was soll man großartig dazu schreiben, eine gute gelungene Collection.
