I bought this as I cannot stand for very long due to my disability when preparing food, and had to rely on my husband to cook or prepare really quick things like toast or cereal. Now that I have this, I can actually stir things in a pan and cook much better meals. It is sturdy as long as you don’t lean forwards too far, so sit quite far back on it, don’t perch on the edge. Because my legs go either side of it as it’s a saddle style, I can get nice and close to the hob. It’s just tall enough for me to see into a saucepan when on the highest height and is sturdy with easy to roll wheels. It’s really helped me in the kitchen. The saddle is comfortable for 5-10 minutes for me and then I need a break but I suffer from pain throughout my body so it could just be that.

The chair itself seems to be good quality and easy to put together but like other reviewers have said, I think the saddle part is a bit too wide causing the legs to be pushed unnaturally wide. I bought it hoping it would help my posture when working from home but it started to become a bit uncomfortable after 2-3 hours. The padding was OK but perhaps could have done with being a bit softer especially either side of the central saddle part. It's possible I could have got used to it if I tried it for more than a couple of weeks but I would have been happier if the central saddle part was narrower and the seat shaped to give you the freedom to move your legs closer together or further apart depending on what feels more comfortable at the time like you can with a normal chair - with this chair, I felt my legs were stuck in one position all the time (which is never going to be comfortable when setting for long periods of time). I found the back support quite useful and supportive though. I ended up returning it (after managing to get it apart) as there's no point paying this much for a seat that isn't comfortable.

For the money, this is a great buy. Hasn't come apart and keeps my back straight where other chairs have failed. Perineum is a bit shocked at first, but gets used to the unaccustomed pressure after a while

As somebody with a disability which means I cannot stand or walk for very long at all, this is proving to be a godsend, particularly in the kitchen. Previously I have tried perch stools (cumbersome and static), a wheelchair (too big and awkward for my tiny kitchen) and then saw a blog of someone with MS who recommended this type of stool for use in the kitchen. I can adjust the height if I need to reach higher shelves or cupboards and because of its easy manoeuvrability, I can whizz easily between the sink, cooker and fridge (without having to do a three point turn like I had to in the wheelchair) it’s proving very useful indeed. The seat is wide and well padded and I have adjusted the backrest to the right place for me, so it is comfortable to sit on whilst I make dinner or bake something. My only gripe is that it is allegedly meant to take up to 400lbs in weight - and although I’m on the large side I am nowhere near that, but the seat does creak quite alarmingly when ever I sit or move off the seat. Does make me worry about its longevity. But so far at least, I am very happy with my purchase!

I thought this chair would be really comfortable a nice mix for me to stand up and sit down whilst supporting my back. Back is not supported very well despite all the adjustments but more importantly I now have excruciating sciatica down one of my legs all down to the way this chair ‘aligns’ you. I’ve sat in a normal office chair for a week-no pain, been on holiday and sat in loads of chairs-no pain, a week back in this chair and I’m in agony. The one star is because it does look nice-but that’s about as kind as I can be… I would absolutely never recommend this product and sadly as I cant get a refund, and would not in all good conscience sell this to anyone-off to the tip it goes. I am so disappointed and in loads of pain with a condition I’ve never had before.

I’m very glad I bought this chair! I play bass guitar and it is perfect. Back rest is very comfortable and supportive. Pure leather. Great design. I can sit for hours on it. Very well made. No faults at all. Very strong structure and will last a lifetime. Wheels are heavy duty and smooth.

Ravie de cette chaise pour un atelier avec un comptoir de travail assez haut, cette chaise convient parfaitement, le cuir blanc est très beau, elle roule hyper bien, facile à assembler et est très confortable. Ce mode d assise peut sembler bizarre car on a les jambes écartées mais étant cavalière cela ne me dérange pas du tout. Je craignais que l assise soit trop large car je fais une taille s mais non parfait. Je recommande
