while I don't drink whiskey, I was tired of throwing out 1/2 - 1/4 of my drinks because the ice diluted my Vodka Cran for example. Now because this is a larger drink, it doesn't keep it as cold as ice cubes, but that is ok with me, since there is no waste! I bet these are perfect for the only whiskey drinker, or only vodka martini drinker etc, I add stuff to my drinks, and these cubes help a lot. I would recommend this for anyone that doesn't want their drink diluted. I even tried the extra large ice cubes, but they too melt quickly, I live in Northern CA, so the ice cubes or champagne or whatever you are drinking, gets warm fast. I like these

I bought these as a gift and chose this one because it looked like it was packaged nicely. When it got here the box was all scuffed up and kind of flimsy but the rocks inside and little bag were fine despite the box not being sealed. Definitely not gift box quality. I also bought a whiskey ball mold and he likes that better than the rocks but if and when he decides to have it straight, hopefully he will use these. (He immediately filled the ice ball mold and has made a whole container of them while these sit in the gift bag somewhere.)

I have used other Whiskey rocks in the past and these are definitely the best I have had the pleasure of using. They hold their temperature well (even if you like to sip your drink quite slowly) and I particularly like the rounded edges as the clink less in the glass. If you like your whiskey a bit cooler than room temperature (especially if you live in a warm desert like I do) but would never consider diluting it with melting ice, then I highly recommend these whiskey rocks.

I don't drink whiskey all that often but these are really nice! You get the nice refreshing chill without having to water down your $50 bottle in my case! (It's about all I can afford at the moment.) But the stones have a nice feel, and hold their chill for a fair amount of time.

I got these for Christmas and they basically don't work very well at all. 4 rocks in a 1oz shot of whiskey will cool it only slightly and only for a short time. You can't really fit enough of them into a glass to make a shot actually cold, like with ice. Pretty much a waste of money. Also note that the many 5 star "reviews" are all by people who got the product at a discount or for free as payment for their 5 star "reviews". Don't believe the paid reviewers, look for the ones who are doing actual reviews not paid endorsements.

a very cool way to chill your whisky without watering it down...some folks add water to open up the spirit, but as ice melts you wind up with too much water, using the rocks eliminates that problem and lets you add as little or no water as you want and still get a nice chill to your beverage. They are not intended for soda so pay no attention to any criticism you read about using them with soda, I mean really, if you use something wrong and it doesn't work, its not the fault of the product...READ the instructions

I ordered these as a present and they were very well received. They are beautiful and chilled the whiskey quickly, maintaining the temperature for quite a while. I will say that I gifted a different kind a couple of years ago and these look and feel more elegant.

Less cooling effect than I was expecting. Easy to clean and visually pleasant. Storage bag nice touch although I use a freezer bag to keep them in as well.
