I had seen reviews of this lotion online an on YouTube. I decided to give it a try since I have dry and acne prone skin with patches of moderate to severe eczema. Acne is clearing up, eczema is less inflamed, and my skin isn't flaky like it was. I do feel like fine lines are more noticeable. The consistency of this lotion is strange. It is much thinner than the heavy creams I was using but it's very smooth. It almost has the texture of a makeup primer. When it dries, my skin feels incredibly soft and not greasy at all. At all. It completely absorbs. Great for eczema, dry skin, acne prone skin, no fragrance, and you only need a tiny amount. I'm a fan.

I have extremely dry cracked skin from years in the sun and swimming. I've tried EVERYTHING. I was desperate to find something before summer. Most lotions the dermatologist recommended left my skin sticky and really didn't help. After many hours of research I found an article online about skin shielding lotions. I chose this and I couldn't be happier. For the first time ever I found a product that soaks in immediately like water with zero residue and my skin is super soft. It looks like ten years of aging is gone because it hydrates so well. I'm applying twice per day so it's gone quickly but for the first time ever I look forward to putting on lotion. It's a hard price to swallow but my skin needed this!!!!

I was really excited to try the Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion after reading the many reviews from others who suffer from various skin ailments like myself and have used this product. I know how challenging it can be to find a product that can work well for our sensitive skin. It's always a trial and error. Thankfully enough, this product hasn't broken me out or caused any allergies of any sort to happen which I'm happy about. It's a nice lightweight formula that isn't sticky or greasy and has no fragrance whatsoever. This 4oz. was perfect for me to try out for the first time most especially since I can carry it with me if I have to leave the house. It worked great for anytime after sanitizing my hands. I also used this after showering or anytime after washing my face in the morning and before bed. The directions do say to apply every 2-8 hours until moisture improves which I had to do often for my face. Initially, it took a while to see improvement. However as the days went by during the week, I did notice the areas where dryness was apparent, were subtly softened. If I wasn't consistent on applying this every 2-8 hours, I would't have seen a difference. That's for sure. It also helped to lessen the redness and irritation I had prior to using this. Overall, i'd say it's a good product that does help most especially if you have skin irritations or flare ups like me. Yes, the value can be a bit pricey, but the benefits are worth it.

This lotion is TRULY AMAZING! When you first put it on, it feels very "sticky" and I thought I was NOT going to like it----but if you wait about 2-3 minutes, it is an AMAZING softener! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with 20+ years experience and so I KNOW good moisturizing creams and lotion! Would love to purchase it all the time but at a very high price for a TINY 4 oz bottle, we will be using it sparingly and only when necessary. I feel the price is too high for such a small size, other than that, IT IS AMAZING! I would say its main use would be EXTREMELY DRY and maybe cracked skin on hands and feet. In my opinion, I would not use it for all over moisturizing because of the price.

Bought this awhile back- sadly it did not help my child's skin as I had hoped. She has eczema so bad she would continue to scratch after the skin broke. When her skin healed more with prescription steroid cremes I gave this a try to see if we could use a non-steroid. I have also used it for my own dry skin and used as directed but did not notice much difference. (I get more benefit from using a light body oil just out of the shower.) It has a slight filmy feel to it that goes away once it dries on your skin. Odor is mild/barely detectable. It is possible our water quality has affected how well this will work. May work for others though.

I keep this by my sink. Use it everything I wash my hands. In this dry indoor climate it works to keep my hands from drying out.
