Tesla’s stock high gloss console attracts every single fiber, finger print, and smudge on earth, but this overlay has a matte finish (can’t see any of those things on it), it’s easy to wipe clean, seems very durable, and just has an overall clean and polished look. I got the matte carbon fiber, though I’m not usually drawn to the look of CF. I feel it was a great aesthetic choice for my all black interior.

I had to add 3M tape to help with the proper installation so everything lined up correcctly. Matte black finish is worlds better than the shinny --finger printy-- piano black from the factory. And it is not a dust magnet as before with the shinny black plastic. All the panels function as original with no binding or stiffness--very smooth panel operation. A win--Win

A: Hi, please don't worry, it will not smudge or leave fingerprints and it could cover the original factory glossy black which had smudged or left fingerprints. Wish you like it!

**Q: most wraps require you to clean the console before attaching, as this seems to be a hard shell the console have to be perfectly clean of dust etc?**
A: Not sure it is necessary but I cleaned the console anyways with a Clorox wipe prior to installing. They are shells; install was very easy.

**Q: Does it fit 2023 model 3?**
A: No , not this one … It fits 2020 before facelift

**Q: 2022 model Y?**
A: Initially Model Y had the same center console design as the Model 3. Later Model Y had an updated center console design.

These fit both of our 2018 Model 3s perfectly. They would not fit our 2020 Model Y at all.

Looks good once on, pretty easy to ‘install’. We’ll see how long it holds. Each panel only had 5-8 strips of adhesive tape. One tip make sure you get the middle panel just right or it gets hung up and will not open.
