Ceiling Fan Oil 8 Oz Universal Fan Lubricant

Purchased to use on our Hunter fans and so far, is doing a great job – no more annoying sounds and the fans are all running smoothly. Also, happy that this comes in an 8oz. bottle size instead of the smaller bottle size. The bottle comes with a cap (storage) and plastic extended spout. Excellent price point.

We had a loud sound coming from the fan when we turned it on. I bought this oil to trouble shoot it before we decided to get a new fan. I covered everything with plastic on the bottom and started squirting it into the fan in different areas. Slowly once it started moving around, it went away. This oil saved us from an expensive fan replacement.

Great product. I have several of the old timey hunter fans that have the oil reservoirs,one that I thought for sure had given up the ghost. I filled it with this oil,gave it a spin, and it kept going. It works great now. ....Still working, months later!!!

This may be a great fan oil. It certainly gets lots of praising reviews. Even from folks using it in Hunter Original Fans. But to be fair, most folks are clueless about oil weights and Hunter is very specific about requiring 10 weight non-detergent oil. This oil may meet that specification but it’s simply not defined. I bought it on faith but now will not use it. I have an Original Hunter Fan pre-2000 (made in USA) and it’s worth far too much to risk saving a couple of bucks on an unknown oil. Regrettably, Amazon no longer shows the actual Hunter oil but it is available in other places.

I had a noisy ceiling fan and was ready to replace it except I couldn't find someone to do that. That is when I saw this product, and it worked like a charm to lubricate and silence the fan. For a few dollars, I saved probably at least $200 in fan replacement.

I bought this when my fan started making intermittent squeaking sounds. Turns out my fan doesn’t need oil after contacting the manufacturer. But I already bought the oil and it was in transit. What to do?! We’ll, it’s oil. So I lubricated all my door hinges, and guess what. Yeah. It works on that too. Thank you fan oil now being used for other stuff… oil.
