Unscented Pomade, Strong Hold, Natural Shine, Water Based, Hand Crafted, 4oz

This is the best unscented pomade option for men. Everything else is feminine or ineffective. It stays in; putting more on does not make it greasy; it does require soap to get out, but it is not a hassle. I like the handsome gentlemen behind the product. Their personality is not an embarrassing gimmick to sell lame products. Only con is that it is a soap scum generator on the metallic sink drain.

The pomade I swear by. Extremely reliable and easy to apply. A little bit goes a long way making it very much worth the money.

This is the product that I have been looking for. It is a no-frills pomade that holds thick Asian hair for hours. The only downside is that it takes a few washes to get out of hair completely, but it is totally worth it.

There is a lot to like starting with the fact that it is in scented, which those of us with sensitivities to fragrance appreciate. It only takes a very small amount, especially if you have short hair. That said, it does leave a sort of sticky feel to your hair. The hold is epic. You can go to bed and get up the next day with your hair still in place. I tend to use this when I need to look presentable, but less diligent about using it for general staying at home and no one is going to see my hair days. I would love a lighter formula for those days with less sticky feel to it.

I get this for my husband, b/c I am VERY sensitive to scents. His hair stuff worked okay, but the scent gave me a headache. So he switched to this one. This product is completely scent free, which is a blessing to me. He also loves it. We are on the 4th or 5th jar for him. And it holds quite well. However, it is not a light pomade. It is in the medium to heavy category. Sometimes I use it on my hair too which is long and thick and can get frizzy. I found if you just put a bit in your palm and then wet it with a little warm water and rub it between your hands, you can thin it out a little bit.

This was not a great pomade. I was hoping to replace my Old Spice Forge Putty with this, as I am looking for an unscented pomade to style back my hair. This pomade is **thick** and makes your hair clump up into thick strands of hair. It was extremely hard to "remold" my hair throughout the day, say if my hair got messed up from the wind or putting on/taking off my shirt. And it was insanely hard to wash out of my hair in the shower. It took 3 rounds of shampoo & conditioner to finally remove the pomade from my hair. Lastly, I would not call this product unscented necessarily. It has a somewhat strong clay smell which is better than floral or citrus scents that many products have. However, other unscented products like Dove's unscented bar soap smell more like wax than clay, and are much less irritating to someone sensitive to scents than clay is.

The pomade does hold your hair in place, but comes with the downside of sticky hair that smells vaguely of play doh. In addition, it's nearly impossible to wash out in the shower, no matter how thorough you are.

Great stuff. No smell, which was key as my wife is smell sensitive.
