It works really good BUT the locking nut does round out easily, had to burr the surfaces a few times to flatten it out for a small wrench to secure it

This is exactly what I needed to use some carbide bits I purchased for my Dremel 8240 tool. The shank in the standard head was not large enough to accomodate the carbide bit. This shank worked perfectly. I used the Dremel tool case to store the extra shanks.

Could not find one locally, so I was very glad to find this online. My little Dremel wrenches weren't working with the one that came with my original Dremel tool and this part needed replacing.
