Mr. Super Clear Flat Spray

Im going to share my story about this product, but first heres some background. Very recently ive been getting into doll customizing. I went to the store and bought a matte base coat. I was SO excited to finally try doll customizing for the first time! So once i had my doll ready, i sprayed the base coat on it and waited for it to dry... it said it would dry in 30 minuets, so i left it by my window to dry. I came back in 30 minuets and poked the back of the head to see if it was dry, but it was... sticky? I figured it just needed more time to dry, so i left it for another hour. Came back, and it was STILL sticky. I was a little annoyed, but figured it would dry by the time i got off work the next day. I got home and IT WAS STILL STICKY!! Not only that, but it was VERY glossy, despite the fact that it said Matte on the can. I was a little disheartened and decided to watch a few of the youtubers that i watch for doll customization. Dollightful was my go to, and i found that she uses Mr Super Clear. I wondered if this would also be sticky, but i decided to grit my teeth and buy some. So i did! And once it arrived I wiped off the old coat with some acetone and used Mr Super Clear. I. AM. AMAZED!!! Not only is it not glossy, BUT ITS NOT STICKY AT ALL!!! Its working great so far! My only complaint is that its a pretty small can considering how much it is. But, will i buy it again? YES 100% as soon as this can runs out, im buying a new one. My absolute favorite matt top coat I use in on any project I want matt and it dose wonders for me.

This stuff is a serious lifesaver. The smell isn’t the greatest, but this stuff shouldn’t be sprayed indoors and without proper ventilation and protective gear. The spray is easy to use and coat, and does an amazing job. I’ve had 0 issues with scratches or peeling, and it lasts long. I do suggest getting more than 1 can, depending on what you’re doing and how many layers, the small can gets used up very quickly. This was so far the best sealant I’ve used!

I've used all the good products on the market, and handsdown, this is the best product. It works perfectly with vintage and modern bisque, vinyl, rubber, and hard plastic. Lays down a smooth even base coat with the exact tooth needed to adhere with any medium, seriously it seems made for brushed-on chalks and watercolor pencils. The perfect sealant between coats, and for your topcoat. I don't like airbrushing as I have more control, and choices with chalks, this product holds the chalk, which most products catch unevenly, or allow sliding. As well, some restorations require a sheen, this product may be sealed again with Mr. Super clear semi-gloss as with the doll in my 6th photo-that approximates her original finish. FYI There are several reasons why I ONLY recommend Mr. Super Clear products, the fist being, it works perfectly consistantly and has never clogged or spit during use, secondly, it takes a great deal of time to re-paint or restore the dolls, or other objects I work with, so why seal with something which is not durable and will not last?

I use this product on dolls, and its great! Dries quickly, provides a nice matte sealant, and is easy to use. However, please please please be aware that this is toxic and to wear a PROPER mask when using it. I have seen people use this with no mask at all and I cannot stress how dangerous that is. Use gloves, wear your (proper) mask!

Good product overpriced to hell but need it to finished my projects I usually pay 12 bucks for it but my store was out of stock this is why I don’t buy Gundam kits from this store so overpriced scalper price

Better than running clear coat through air brush. Fast and easy and the finish is correct.

I used this to make my Gundam appear shiny! I applied 3 coats outside in the sun, and let each coat dry for 24 hours. It didn't disappoint.

Excelente producto y queda súper protegida la pintura. Les modifique la pintura a un juguetito de mis hijas y ellas lo traen para todos lados y no se ha afectado en nada la pintura. Súper buen producto

This is probably the best flat spray for your ceramics or 3d printed parts. As for the cost, it's only because of the Japanese Yen's value. Switzerland and Japan have extreme exchange rates. Thus products from these countries become very expensive.
