Good product and gets cold
Gets very cold and need to place in a soft bag or wrap in lightweight towel. But does the job on sprains and other soft tissue injuries.

Bang For Your Buck
These are great at what they’re great at. What’s that even mean? Well they’re ice packs, small ice packs. They activate quickly and easily, they stay cold long enough considering their size, they’re affordable. Plenty of pros if that’s what you’re looking for. Using them for youth sports just makes sense because most of your kids that need these took a soccer ball to the face or got kicked in the leg. They don’t actually “need” the ice packs but we have conditioned them to think if they’re hurt this will automatically help make it all better. So why overspend for those purposes? And in the event younger kids have an ACTUAL injury that needs ice these still do the trick. So what are the downsides? Older kids may find these way too small, especially if there’s a bad fall or bruising to the hip or leg or back. Trying to put a 4x5 ice pack on a grass and dirt shredded thigh is pretty silly. Bc they’re so small and full they’re also not that flexible, so you can’t really wrap it around a wrist or ankle. It just has to sit on top of the main point of contact. And lastly durability. This is tough bc kids don’t make smart decisions, but I’ve had a number of these burst open as there “played with”. Ideally you wouldn’t have that issue if they’re being used for their purpose but given that most of you will use these for kids it’s important to note that if they throw it around too much it absolutely WILL open up. I do not hold this against the company though bc in normal use they have been flawless

Convenient and Reliable – A Must-Have for Sports Parents
I purchased the General Medi Instant Ice Cold Pack (4” x 5.5”, 25 Pack) to have on hand during my 7-year-old son’s Little League games, and it’s proven to be incredibly useful and easy to use. Each pack activates instantly with a simple squeeze, delivering quick cold therapy for minor bumps, sprains, or just general cooling after a long game. They’re compact, portable, and disposable, making them perfect for tossing into a baseball bag or first aid kit without any mess. So far, every pack has worked exactly as expected, and having them available has brought peace of mind during the season. For any parent with a young athlete, this is a practical, reliable product that’s well worth keeping on hand. Strongly recommended.

Handy little cold packs! Will purchase again.
These cold packs are great to keep on hand! I ordered these to keep my hands cool while bowling in my weekly league. To keep them from warming up and swelling. Though these don't stay cold enough through all 3 games, they really did help. I've also had a couple of migraines that I've used these for. I applied them to my forehead and back of my neck. The cold relief was helpful to take the edge off of the pain. It got me thinking. These are great to keep on hand for various bumps, bruises, headaches and fevers. They're very handy to store in your vehicle for all 'in case of emergency' scenarios. Even being stuck in traffic on a hot day, these would be helpful. These are quite handy to keep around. They aren't sticky either. Nor do they really have a wet feel. There's a slight bit of moisture transfer from the cold but not much. I didn't notice any smell. This is a great product! The reason for the 4 stars is longevity of keeping cool and that there was a dud in the box that wouldn't crack or cool. Not too bad though! Would purchase again!!

Stays Cold About 25 Minutes
I bought these ahead of the summer so that if any of my employees overheat, we would have a way to cool them down - we don't always have access to ice. With that in mind, I decided to test one. It got fairly cold, maybe around 38F, but only stayed cold for about 25 minutes, and then quickly warmed up to room temperature over the next half hour. That's probably plenty for my use, realistically we would use three or four to help somebody cool off anyways. They are fairly small, but I think they will do the job nicely. If we're lucky, I won't need to use them.

Quick, Convenient Relief Anytime, Anywhere
The General Medi Instant Ice Cold Packs have been a fantastic addition to my first aid supplies, especially for someone who is active and frequently outdoors. These disposable cold packs are incredibly convenient, providing instant cold therapy whenever and wherever it’s needed. Whether it’s for a sprain, swelling, or even a toothache, these packs offer quick and effective relief. The 4”x 5.5” size is perfect for targeting specific areas of pain or injury, and they’re compact enough to carry in a sports bag or keep in your car for emergencies. Activating the packs is simple—just squeeze to break the inner pouch, and they instantly become cold. I’ve found them to be particularly useful during hikes and outdoor activities where traditional ice packs aren’t an option. One of the best features is that they’re single-use and disposable, so there’s no need to worry about refrigeration or reusing them. This makes them ideal for situations where you need cold therapy on the go. However, because they are disposable, I do try to use them sparingly and keep them for when I truly need them. And for a little humor: Why don’t cold packs ever get in trouble? Because they always keep their cool! Overall, the General Medi Instant Ice Cold Packs are a must-have for anyone who leads an active lifestyle or simply wants to be prepared for unexpected injuries. They’re easy to use, highly effective, and provide immediate relief when you need it most.

Doesn't stay cold long
You get a lot for a decent price. Kinda easy to pop. Does not stay cold for long. Maybe for 15 mins you'd probably need it for an injury, but nothing more. Some pain relief. Works ok on a budget or in a pinch. Somewhat durable, I only had one rupture. A little smaller than traditional ones. Really good for fevers though.

I found these easy to "pop" to release the coldness which was an important thing when awaking in the middle of the night with severe toothache. Provided a really good ice level to help relieve/numb the pain. Easy to carry in my bag as well because whilst a decent size, they are not too big. I would definitely recommend both for toothache and other uses. My daughter fell over and bumped her cheek, it was handy to have one of these in my bag and just wrapped a spare top around it to apply to her cheek.
