After researching and looking at various out door shed designs I decided to get this Keter shed. Although the instructions recommends two people at various points during the assembly process - it only took just myself about 1 1/2 hours to put this shed together properly from ‘start to finish’. Having said that - here is MY recommendations for having a “stress free” experience in doing this: 1- ENSURE you have a properly prepared ‘base’ to set this shed on. You’ll want to have a FLAT - LEVEL & STABLE ‘base’ that will make FULL contact with shed’s plastic base! (Do NOT set the shed on ‘posts’ or any method that does NOT provide a LEVELED and solid base!) Again: I can’t stress this point more if you expect this shed to perform correctly and remain stable, square and long lasting! 2- REVIEW the directions CAREFULLY - DO NOT ‘skip ahead’ on any of the numbered ‘steps’. 3- Most, but not ALL pieces are carefully labeled and ‘match’ what you see in the assembly directions. HOWEVER: the ‘pictures’ and diagrams on the instructions can be ‘matched’ to any non-labeled pieces by carefully matching by ‘looks’. Take extra time to MAKE SURE you have PROPERLY ‘oriented’ any pieces BEFORE screwing them together! 4- IF you use a impact drill to put in the screws: use the LOWEST torque setting so you don’t ‘overdrive’ and strip the screw insertion points. The shed is PLASTIC - so don’t overtighten the screws! Again: make SURE you don’t overtighten the screws for this shed! 5- There are three different screw sizes used on this shed - make SURE you use the proper ‘sizes’ where indicated on the instructions. 6- This shed comes with (12) small right angled ‘clips’ for installing two shelves. You will need to provide the ‘shelf material’ that you can get at any big box hardware store. The instructions recommend a 12” deep shelf - but you can go deeper if needed (16” to 18”). The width of the shelf needs to be at least 51” in order to ensure you have full ‘side to side’ contact - cut the shelf width accordingly. 7- The finished ‘roof’ slants slightly enough to the back of the shed to permit ‘rain run-off’ (another reason to ensure you have properly LEVELED base that the shed is placed on!) 8- The instructions say that you ‘can’ paint the walls of this shed. But - the plastic color is pleasant enough as it is - and I wouldn’t paint it and have to maintain the paint finish! 9- There are two metal door hinges that you should ‘oil’ or spray some lubrication on the pivot points of the hinges. 10- Step back after finishing up and ENJOY YOUR NEW KETER SHED!

These sheds are pretty nice. They are very Sturdy once put together & a pretty easy two person assembly. We ordered two. Hubby & I put the first one together and found we were missing a bunch of pieces which was annoying and made the process a bit longer than needed. We were able to get it together without the pieces and the seller quickly sent out the needed stuff so all was well. Hubby put the second one together all by himself - kind of a pain with the larger sides needing some support but he got it done. Second one was not missing anything. Once together they are very very sturdy and have a ton of space inside. There are two shelves that run the full length and about 2/3 the width. They stable and holds a lot of weight - they also have a little lip on the forward edge to keep stuff from rolling off - very handy feature. The base is sturdy but there is some flex you will feel if you are standing inside - Hubby is a perfectionist so he cut a couple pieces of 2"x4" and plywood to make a base to put under the base. He also did this to tilt the sheds back about 5degrees so that rain would run off the back of the shed instead of pooling or coming down the front and possibly getting inside the doors. Not a necessary thing but he is who he is. The handle locks the doors together and has a space for a long shank padlock. Even tho it is primarily plastic it is very sturdy and I love that it has really helped to clean up our covered driveway. We use them to store all our girl's softball and sports stuff and our ski/snowboard gear.

About what I expected it to be. Given that I live in the desert South West with xeriscape grounds, I don't have much and don't need much in the way of gardening tools to maintain my property. I began planning to build my own shed from scratch only to find out that the material was going to cost me as much if not more than this shed for the same benefit. It came as promised in a box that was in pretty good shape for its size and weight. After reading other reviews it became abundantly clear that this shed was going to require a flat, level and stable base for it to go together right and for the doors to work well. If you have a flat slab or a deck to situate it on, you should be OK. I had neither. I used 12 X 12 pavers to make the base and that project took a full work day. Your mileage may vary depending on your substrate. The assembly of the shed took me a little over an hour and could have been less if I had not run into a slight problem. For some reason, the panels were damaged at the bottoms. The edges were mushroomed out such that they would not fit into the base channels. When I figured out what was up I trimmed the panels with a utility knife and things went well after that. I say "for some reason" because as mentioned there was no damage to the box so I have to assume it happened during manufacture or perhaps packing. There was another strange condition as well. As you'll notice in the pictures there is a slot on the outside of one of the doors. Each door has a slot on the inside for indexing the position of the hinges but, one on the outside seems to have no purpose and probably shouldn't be there. The five stars remain as one issue was easily remedied, the other is just aesthetic not preventing the shed from being a shed and the door hinges are working well. I was able to find some shelving at the Orange Store by Rubbermaid that worked very well. They are 1/2" particle board laminated in vinyl with a gray color that compliments the shed. For the time being, I'm going to rely on the weight of the contents and a cement block to help the shed stay put but I'm thinking that won't be enough where I live as the next haboob just might take it for a ride. Concrete anchors are in order. This shed is nothing approaching what I could have built on my own but it is getting the job done for a bit less money and a lot less work. I won't be showing this thing off to the neighbors anytime soon but I am pleased with the purchase thus far.

Do not buy this product!!! It's made with very cheap materials that easily can break and bend. Took two hours to assemble and as soon as I finsihed and wanted to move it a couple feet to its final destination on my outdoor fence, half of the closet came off the hinges with the easiest amount of pressure. Doors did not open correctly either as the cheap plastic cover bent over the door to inped them from opening. I highly doubt this product can withstand any amount of wind during colder months nor be able to stand rain or snow as there are cracks between the door as well as in the plastic sidings that barely stay in place. My daughter's Lego toys are more durable and provide a better outdoor storage then this piece of junk. Also my mother bought this is a gift for us and English is not her first language and she assumed the closet came w shelves. Which after looking at the item every picture has shelves in the picture. and even one picture has a close up of shelves only to find out no shelves are included in the description after you click on more info. I would understand how that would be confusing to a person who is elderly and English isn't their primary language. Please do not even consider this item not even for a second. Ended up buying a Rubbermaid that was 100 times better in quality and durability. FYI I work in construction and plumbing and I was just appalled at the level of cheapness in this product.

Serves its purpose but the doors don’t really align. Over time, the doors became more and more lopsided so it’s kind of a pain to open and close the doors.

This shed is spacious and sturdy. After putting it together I told my wife that it’s the best thing I’ve ever put together for fit and quality feel but if a person is not mechanical or needs very specific and step by step instructions it’s not going to be easy. The instructions are pictures and you have to visualize every step in advance while interpreting direction of parts. If you need help get help and really study the instructions and you will hopefully be as pleased as we are. The shelf unit inside is 24” deep by 40”wide and 50” tall. Engineering, build, finish and final result seems very good….. 2 month update. 1/24/2023. The shed has been perfectly functional and sturdy. It has weathered some extreme cold, rain, wind, snow and sunshine. Keeps things dry and doesn’t budge. We have a couple of 50 pound dumbbells on the bottom shelf. Very well engineered and built unit.

Nice shed . Fits nicely against our house. It was easy enough to put together. One of the doors would not close as it should, we sent pictures and another door was sent to us in a week. You can not complain about that.

We ordered 2, one came within a week. The second arrived over a month later. That was frustrating, trying to talk to a person with Amazon. Their solution was to order a replacement. Took us an hour and half to put together. Instructions were good. Durability- only time will tell. Definitely not a Rubbermaid. It came with brackets to hang shelves but a little concerned about drilling holes and how much weight a shelf will hold. Would I buy again? Not sure, again time will tell. They changed the door hinge from the first one we bought. Not sure we like the change. It does seem to prevent the doors flying back but it appears to be working itself loose. Less than 2 weeks and we had to tighten the screws.

The best I have ever bought and I have bought a few in my time (Senior Citizen), good quality, easy assembly and it is 100% weatherproof ! Shelves cannot be overloaded - tend to bend a bit - however, that's an operator error and not the manufacturers'. Definitely 5 star.

The product itself is very good. It was relatively easy to put together as the diagrams were easy to follow. However we are struggling to find shelves to fit the product. Therefore if you wish to utilise the use of the brackets for shelving you will be very disappointed.
