They're comfortable, they fit well inside the shoe, and they add quite the boost. I'm a 5'4", 17 year old boy, which definitely isn't fun. These insoles made a huge difference.Some of my shoes are different sizes, so I think I'll be purchasing more to not only fit into all my shoes, but also be able to adjust the height I want for shoes like high-tops, sneakers, dress shoes, and boots. I got these specifically to use with boots and winter shoes, I already tried them, and they're super-comfortable. It was easy to follow the tracing to cut the sole for my size, too. I don't need the extra height "attachments," but it was interesting how they "snap" on so you can customize your additional height if you get them for that purpose. Note, these insoles are squishy and comfy however because of the squish I'm not sure you're getting the full 2.5 inches when worn, I haven't taken exact height measurements though.
