Anyone who has worked with tricky cage nuts and shredded their fingers will appreciate this tool! Once you get the hand of it, it works perfectly every time. I found there was a bit of a knack to it and it doesn't take long to figure out. You can also adjust it with the small screw which can help for different sizes. Recommend this for anyone working on racks. Always keep this in my work bag.

Definitely makes life easier when building a server rack. Saves your fingers too.

I know there are reviews saying it is a real time saver but ...it needs further development ... in my opinion :-) Firstly, pictures show cage nuts with wings at the top and bottom on the device. You cannot install them like that, the wings have to be horizontal. If you are installing in a large empty rack, then yes, you have room to twist the whole device and your hand around. If installing in a rack that's already been populated then it's almost impossible to use this gadget. However, if they designed it so you could swivel the head 90 degrees and still depress the handle or designed it so that nut is horizontal and the handle horizontal then it would work better. After all that .... does it stop you from getting a screwdriver rammed in your fingers? ... YES ! Does it stop you tearing your fingers squeezing cage nut in? ... YES Is it worth the cost? ... no not really ... in my opinion ... as it doesn't work easily in all situations.

Cut my finger getting these out last week, hence the purchase! Was a little sceptical, but dam it actually works!

Useful little tool to have in the toolbox

Its not perfect but most of the times works very well. However as you would know not all cabinets are the same but its not the tools fault. not bad at all.

Terrible, didn't work with two brands of cage nut I tried even after adjusting the screw. You could 3D print something better. Was also pretty useless in confined space, fingers worked better so I returned it.

Works well for a while, but it wears quickly when you handle steel cages with this aluminium tool. A harder alloy or even steel would be preferred.
