**Q: Are beans fresh?**
A: Have purchased Caffe Umbria coffee through Amazon several times and each time, the beans were fresh and made excellent coffee press coffee, down to the last beans in the bag.

**Q: Would you recommend the blend for a coffee press?**
A: This is the roast used in all espresso drinks at Caffé Umbria coffee bars. Perfect for making espresso at home, which I do daily. Also excellent for French press.

**Q: How fresh (how long from roasting to receiving?) are the bags of beans I'd be ordering? Just wondering, thanks!**
A: I am not sure - I just know I fell in love with the Umbria Coffee when visiting Portland last summer and I have ordered the coffee to be delivered to me in Virginia.  The beans seem very fresh and I love that the coffee is not bitter!
