Bubba Hero Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Handle, 18 oz., Rose Gold

Always great mugs and first time with this color. Use daily in my car. Fits holder very well. Cleans easy. One thing you gotta watch is not to hard drop top because it can break a part that holds the closure. I used the silver for years now. No matter how much you drop it it stays from dents, just scratches if dropped on cement. Keeps my ice water cold all thru night without a lid!

I just bought two more of these Bubba travel mugs. I have been using them for several years now, but when I wanted to get another one recently, I learned that Walmart apparently no longer carries this particular item. I was fortunate enough to find it on Amazon. The manufacturer states that the mug will keep liquids cold for up to 21 hours. I was so impressed after I bought the first one that I ran my own test, filling the mug with ice and water, putting the lid on it, and letting it sit at room temperature for 24 hours and then checking it. I found that all of the ice did not completely melt until well after the 24-hour period. It is a large stainless steel (30-ounce) container and I also like the way it is designed, with a reduced base so that it will fit into a vehicle drink holder and with a tight lid. I have never known one to leak (except when I forgot to close the drink opening tightly). I use them all of the time, and I sometimes "lose" one when I put it down somewhere in the house, basement, garage, outbuilding, vehicle, or even on the lawn mower, so I keep multiples on hand, so I always have one available until I find the previous "lost" one. Recently, when I was in the process of purchasing one from Amazon, I looked at the reviews and was surprised to find a number that were negative. Such as: "Leaks constantly," "do not keep things ice cold for long at all," "handle has already fallen off, "cheap plastic lid," and several that complained that the handle breaks off. I have never had any of these problems, and I do not treat these mugs with care. I have a couple that have large dents in them where I managed to bash them some way or other, and they still function like new. I also read where one reviewer said that she had used this Bubba mug for a long time and really liked it, but when she could not find it at Walmart anymore, she got one from Amazon and that it leaked badly. Made me a little nervous, but I still bought one from Amazon (and then another as I am afraid they might not be available much longer), and both of them are just as tough as the ones I have had for a long time. I don't know why the other folks had these experiences, but seeing as all of the really negative comments are less than 2% of the total reviews, I think they were just unlucky. As a result of now having owned six of these, I highly recommend them.

This is a good cup. I was pulling my rv and accidentally left this cup full of coffee on the counter inside. I thought oh it bounced around and coffee was going to be every where inside. When I did get to it, it was in a corner on the floor. Still sealed up tight and my coffee was still hot. Love this cup.

The best of all the travel cups

Already had identical mug but closure flap broke off. Could not find replacement lid so ordered whole new one. Some sort of thread defect in top of new mug causing cross threading. At that point lid is almost impossible to remove. It took quite a bit of time and great effort. Tried new lid in old mug and it worked. So basically, I bought the whole thing just to get a new lid but haven’t found anything I like better so am keeping. New lid in old mug works fine. Keeps coffee hot for two or three hours. Good capacity, comfortable handle, no leaks. We have many Bubba mugs of all sizes and this is the first with the thread problem.

I love my Bubba mug. I’ve had one just like this for years & I lost the little flap on the lid (which broke off years ago). I despaired of ever finding one like it till (thank you) Amazon! It’s not too big or small, keeps my beverage just the right temperature, has a leak proof top AND a handle! What more could you want? It’s perfect.

OK, sure...it's just a mug, but not so fast...this is a very good mug! If you drink coffee on the go all day, as I do, then you migh appreciate the design features of this mug. Yes, it keeps the coffee hot/warm for a very long time, and the seal is very good (no leaks) but there is more to it than just the basics....first, it is a simple design with a easy to use "flip" stopper for drinking. This is a much better design than othe mugs I have had that have complicted "trigger, spring, and stopper" designs with many parts that are a hassle to clean, and get really "gross" over the course of daily use, requiring much more than a quick wash and rinse. But the design feature I appreciate most is the "open" handle...if you are on the move, and need the use of both hands, it is easy the hook this mug over your belt or on a pocket to free up your hands...and the mug stays with you...no need to set it down and possibly leave it behind (lost a bunch of mugs that way)...the handle is very sturdy, and a shape that helps to keep it from slipping out. The handle is also good in hand and feels "natural". I like the non-slip base, and the size works in a number of cup holders...in my case, the handle actually fits perfectly into the the center console of my truck to keep the mug from tipping or flying onto the floor on rough roads. Try one...you might like it!

I absolutely love this travel mug it keeps my coffee hot till I finish it and I especially love that it can be used as a right hand or left hand. I would recommend it to everyone

Got it last week, it’s been dropped a few times already, nothing has broke. Seems really durable and well made, love the size, it’ll keep liquids hot for hours. Goes from Hot to warm liquids in roughly 4-5 hours

...BUT, I am a quadriplegic with weak hands and wrists and primarily got it for moving around and not wanting my coffee to spill all over me...and this does the trick and the top is not that hard to put on and off (and my hand function isn't that great). The threads for the top are big and few and it's not that hard to twist. The top plunger part is not difficult to work (and has big grippy pieces--a plus bonus for anyone) and if I had to roll around the house with a cup of coffee between my legs and burn myself or use this...hands down I'd use this. It also keeps coffee or tea warm for a while...is easy to clean (really just rinse it out with soapy water). The only drawbacks I can see (which are not that big a deal...are 1) it's heavy and 2) you can't put it in the microwave...so I just warm coffee up if I'm making instant and use a wide mouth funnel and pour it in the bubba. (This is a good excuse to keep perc coffee on hand 😄.)
