My book was 6 x 9 x 1 and I provided that information to the vendor (who was adamant about making these "To Order").But the product I received seemed pre-made to fit a thicker book leaving me a little overhang (see Pic). I will be able to eventually use this on another book of a thicker size but this wasn't a custom fit for the book I intended to use it for. The leather is soft and feels like it will last like leather and on that level I'm not disappointed.
