Ad either water or broth, all the veggies I want and meat of choice and some soy sauce and it’s done in about 30-40 min! I set it on the regular rice setting. I also made a delicious chocolate cake in it! Mad the mix, greased the inside with pm, poured in batter and turned it on steam for I think 50 min? It was delicious!!! It was an experiment but it worked! So I use this farrrr more than just a little rice cooker, I use it multiple times a week and keep in on the counter. It’s a little big but it’s not ugly so I don’t mind. To me it was worth the money. Makes great rice but even better quick and easy full meals! It’s easy to use, and the nonstick inner pot definitely makes cleanup simple. That said, it didn’t fully meet my expectations. The cook times feel a bit long, and sometimes the rice comes out slightly uneven depending on the setting. The build quality is okay, but not as premium as I expected for the price.
