Reprogramming remotes is tricky
I replaced the defective remote control on a wood shop dust collector with this. I would not rely on the relays in this box to switch a 2hp motor or anything over a few Amps, but when combined with a proper motor contactor, it works great. One of the remotes I got was programmed to only keep the motor on while you keep pressure on the ON button. Reprogramming the remote worked, but the factory instructions were about worthless. I found this in a review for another Amazon listing, and it is spot-on. Read carefully, the advice is VERY important: To program generally I wind up hitting the learn button 8 times to start with a clean slate. There are 3 modes for programing the remote's buttons. The mode is controlled by how many times you push the learn button on the switch. One push for Momentary, two for Toggle, and three for Latched. Push the learn button once, the LED will flash once, then go steady. It's ready to read the button on the remote. Push the desired button on the remote. If it takes the switch LED will flash 3 times and turn off. Then you can check the function by holding the button on the remote and whatever is connected to the load side should operate as long as the button is being pushed. Two learn button pushes sets up Toggle. The LED flashes then goes steady waiting for a button push on a remote. LED out, push the button and see if it works. In Toggle if the switch is OFF, it turns it ON and vice versa. For a single switch I like to program both buttons to Toggle so that it doesn't matter what button is used to either turn ON or OFF. Then there's Latched which is the way the remotes are set up with the switch in the box. Push the learn button 3 times, press the button used for ON, steady LED again then the one for OFF. I like Latched mode for sending one signal to multiple switches just in case they get out of synch with each other. Discrete ON and OFF commands would help keep the switches in synch. Lot of words, but once you get the hang of programing it's really pretty simple. BTW as far as I could tell, the switch is double pole. That is both the line and neutral are interrupted when OFF/open. Another BTW is that I believe that the switch can hold 8 buttons, so 4 remotes is probably as much as it can handle.

Work's great
I recently purchased a device that allows me to remotely power on and off my water pump. I use this device in conjunction with my big water system and water barrel on my roof. This device has been a game-changer for me. I no longer have to go outside to turn the pump on and off, which is especially convenient when I'm in my bedroom. I've been using this device for several months now, and it has been working wonderfully. I haven't had any issues with it, and it has made my life much easier. One of the standout features of this device is its ability to remotely power on and off my water pump. This has saved me a lot of time and effort, and I no longer have to worry about going outside to turn the pump on and off. If you're looking for a device that can help you remotely power on and off your water pump, I highly recommend this one. It has been working great for me, and I'm sure it will work well for you too. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. This device has made my life much easier, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Replaced Pool pump remote and pool light
I installed a pool about 20 years ago and the remote device they gave me was the worst. It would turn the pool light or water fall pump on completely on its own and waste power. Then it would not hold a code and then it just stopped working completely. A real POS. I ended up just shutting off the power to both the pool light and pump since the technology of the time was lousy with issues. Today there is a lot of wireless technology on so many formats with encrypted signal technology that I knew Iโd find something to satisfy my need. I saw this relay with a remote technology and thought this is a exactly what I was looking for. I bought one for the pool pump. I wired one leg of the 220 circuit (I wired the โNโ common wire for added protection) , ran the antenna through a small hole in the electrical pool panel, programmed the key fob remote as per the instructions and voila it works great. I use the remote from inside of my house with a total distance of 60+ feet and to date I have not had a single false start or glitch. 30 amps exceeds any appliance circuit on a residential home. Like always, check your operating amp draws, install your grounds or common wires and follow your local or NEC codes. I ordered a second one for my pool light. Good product.

Long range
Used this to be able to remotely turn my shop lights on before I back in. Has great range and remotes are nice design and were preprogrammed. Would have been 5 stars but when I first turned breaker back on after install, there was a strong electrical smell. Unit has been working great and smell went away.

Works perfectly.
Great value for this inexpensive remote switch that I'm using on a dust collection system in my home workshop. Much cheaper than the alternatives. I wasn't crazy about the exposed wire connections, (wood dusty environment) so I put it in a dust tight enclosure that I had kicking around. Easy to set up and pair with the remotes. The instructions described a " blinking green light" but it's actually blue. Other than that, it's a great add-on to my shop.

Worked for a few months ... till it didn't
Bought this to remotely turn on and off a 2hp dust collector in my shop. Worked great for several months. The last time i tried to use it my dust collector it barely tried to start now the remotes do nothing. Back to the old manual on and off switch on the unit. Upon opening the unit up the main relay is indeed 30 Amps, however, it is also stamped 1HP 120VAC and 1/2HP 250VAC. These specs are not stated on the amazon product page so buyer beware if you intened to use one of these for a motor.

i installed this on a ceiling mounted exhaust fan in my office,it works exactly how i expected and i can now control the fan from my desk instead of having to get up and use the wall switch..the terminals easily accept std 14 gauge romex ...the remote works flawlessly and is exactly what i wanted, just a simple on/off instead of dealing with "smart" switches accessed via wifi/phone etc..

Works great in a double garage used in conjunction with (HVAC Contactor, 30 Amp Double Pole / 2 Pole Contactor 120V Coil,) for my 240v woodshop dust collection!

Iโm using this to turn on and off a dust collector in my shop remotely. My power needs are 120v 7 amps I was concerned that this would have over inflated power numbers like most other Chinese parts. So I disassembled it to make sure it was safe. Here are the pictures of the unit. I have mounted it in a metal box with plugs going in and out making it an extension cord kinda thing. Have been playing with it for a week now letting it run for 30 minutes and seeing if it heats up under use and happy to say it has not. The remotes work great and I have connected three more remotes to it with easy.

Worked right of the box, use on 220 v 2 hp motor for dust control system, time will tell if it is good or not.

these remotes are great. work just like I wanted. only thing is, if you want to connect any more than 5 amps to it, you should use a relay. I know that the remote says it's good for 30amps, but there is no way that the contacts on this unit will last with a load that large on it.
