A delicious sauce. Perfect with all meats.
A lovely Hoisin sauce, made by Lee Kum Kee, one of the leading names in Chinese cooking ingredients. Hoisin sauce is the sauce you get with your crispy duck pancakes in a Chinese restaurant. It's a perfect marinade or accompaniment to all meat dishes. It's a sweet/savoury sauce, mainly consisting of soy sauce and sugar. It's 47% sugar and 6.4% salt. Both incredibly high, so if that is a dietary consideration for you, take note. It is free from all preservatives, colours and flavour enhancers, and that includes MSG. It is gluten free if that is important to you. Overall, this is a delicious sauce. It's the real deal, made in China, and is cheaper than many Western manufacturers examples.
