They are deep enough (2") and I really like the simplicity of the compartments. I wanted them for specific drawers which were just a bit too small but based on other reviews and a bit of research into the company that makes these (PackTerra) I was hoping they'd be the thin material that they were. I could trim them with scissors, easily to fit in my drawers.Let me be very clear. These are VERY thin plastic. Like the stuff that mushrooms are packaged in. That thin. However, the compartments make them not collapse and they are perfect for drawer liners. I would not attempt to put something heavy in them and then lift them but I'm using them for makeup and that's perfect.They were just what I wanted. Measurements are 15.5 x 11.5 x 2 inches.
