Revlon Universal Points Makeup Sharpener, Black, 1 Count

I bought this SPECIFICALLY for my Jones Road face pencil and neutralizer pencil as they are quite a bit bigger (larger circumference) than most pencils (eye liner, lip liner, etc.) I was a little concerned when I saw the review which noted it didn't work with her Jones Road pencil, but in reading through the review and looking into this sharpener I came to the conclusion that she didn't pull the piece out of the large hole, which allows for even larger pencils. Also, with Amazon's return policy I knew it would be no issue if the hole was not large enough. As soon as I received it I opened it and tried it on my pencils and.....VOILA!!! It works PERFECTLY on my pencils when you pull the fitted piece out of the large hole. It's made well and should last pretty much forever! It sharpens quickly and easily as the Revlon sharpeners I've had in the past (my first was purchased 40 years ago), which just goes to show that Revlon is still a reliable company with reliable products. The price is more than reasonable, especially figuring you may never need to replace it! Love that this opens to dump the residue/shavings after you've sharpened it, unlike the sharpeners in the past, but you don't have to worry that it will pop open by itself -- you definitely need to pull on the "cover" to get it open. This design makes it so convenient in case you're not somewhere you want the shavings -- you can sharpen your pencils anywhere and dump the shavings once you get back home! Couldn't be more pleased.

I bought this Revlon Universal Points Makeup Sharpener specifically to sharpen my Jumbo Eye Pencil, and it works perfectly! I was a little unsure if it would actually accommodate the larger size, but it does exactly what I needed it to do. I really like that this sharpener works with different sizes of makeup pencils, including larger ones, so I don't need a separate sharpener just for my Jumbo Eye Pencil. It gives the pencil a nice, clean point and makes it easy to get the precision I need when applying my makeup. Another feature I really appreciate is that it catches the pencil shavings. That makes a huge difference because I don't have to worry about little pieces of makeup shavings getting all over my counter or makeup bag. It also makes cleanup much easier. It's compact, simple to use, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. There's really not much more I could ask for from a makeup sharpener! At $3.44, I think this is a great value for the money. This Eyeliner sharpener works alright, it comes with a removable top piece that reveals a pick for cleaning out the blades, it doesnt get the eyeliner to be sharp like a pencil but it gets it sharp to a better point than others may, i do think with the design it feels very high quality for its price and with it including 2 sizes for the sharpener it would be great if you use eyeliner often.

I bought this to replace my old makeup pencil sharpener, and so far it’s been working well. It sharpens my eyeliner and lip pencils without breaking the tips, and I like that it fits different pencil sizes. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and does exactly what I expected. No complaints so far, and I’d buy it again if I ever needed another one.

Love the three size capabilities with the compact design of only two holes! There’s a removable gasket/spacer ring(?) in the larger/longer of the two holes. (It seems like a lot of people are missing that in the reviews here.) You simply pull it out- using the handy lip around the end- to sharpen your chubbiest pencils then put it back after the 2-3 turns. Yes, really 2-3, the “Made in Germany” blades aren’t wasting your products or your time! Two or three turns are enough to refresh your product and restore a decent point. Want a finer point? Just a couple more turns. You can also adjust your angle and pressure to make the point that you desire. You can’t go wrong here. No mess, it catches the shavings. Simply lift off the lid and flip it over into the garbage. Try not to forget, if you force it to hold too much, it may empty itself for(onto) you. Leftover pigment or material? There’s a built in pick to get it out. Just remember that those blades are sharp. They will gouge that hard plastic pick. Which is actually a good thing. I’ve noticed that more and more makeup pencils or sticks are being made of materials much harder than those of the old fashioned wood ones. Any trouble with breaking off the tips of your softer pencils? Put those liners in the fridge (or freezer if you’re in a hurry) to firm up the center and you should be good to go. All this and still @$4! Revlon remembers that they’re an accessible and safe affordable, but never low quality, brand! 😊 Get this one, you won’t be sorry.

This sharpener works great and is a great value! The regular pencil sharpener (not the makeup kind) always broke my pencil tips but this one works perfectly. Highly recommend!
