A: the outer diameter is 30mm

**Q: Can these be steam sterilized?**
A: While they will likely work, the best option for use in an autoclave/pressure cooker are the PTFE syringe filters due to their strong hydrophobicity.  The PTFE filters from Biomed Scientific are red in color around the perimeter.
