Kurgo Loft Dog Jacket, Large, Coastal Blue

I have had a number of winter coats for my dog as he feels the cold easily but this is by far the best! It fits really well with the adjustable velcro on side. It seems to be comfortable and warm and it is rain resistant. We were out in the rain at the weekend but when we got home, my dog was dry. The coat was covered in mud but a quick spin in the washing machine and it came up like new. This coat is easy to put on and the zip at the top means it is easy to get to the harness. Will certainly be buying this brand again. Just a note: The dark blue side of the coat fits super well but the velcro for the light blue side is different and doesn't fit quite as well - that's fine for though as we don't need two colors and everything else about the coat is perfect.

Really cute little rain jacket for our Cavapoo, had lots of compliments when out for walks! I mainly bought this so when he rolls around while playing with the other dogs, he gets a little less wet/messy. For this purpose it works great! Far less of him comes back soaking wet. He has no trouble running full speed with this on, doesn’t bother him at all. He has a Julius K9 harness underneath and the little harness zip works well for that. It’s a little fiddly to actually get at the harness lead loop at times but nothing deal breaking as long as your dog is happy sitting still while you fish it out. He’s around 7kg in the pictures and this has plenty of growing room in it. The coverage along his back isn’t quite as good as I’d hoped but the part that goes under his belly works well. I haven’t machine washed it yet but a damp cloth cleans it up really well in the mean time. One thing I’ve noticed, as others have, is that calling this reversible is a little misleading. As the Velcro is also reversed, it’s really difficult to actually tighten the coat when it’s reversed. I can’t say I’m that bothered but worth a thought if the reversible feature is important to you. Overall, really pleased, would recommend!

We got a size L for our saluki whippet mix and it fits her well. It's easy to put on and take off, though she was a bit worried about the loud sound of the velcro. If you have a long- haired dog, I could imagine that the velcro might snag in the hair. We like the purple colour and the reflective stripe. It's a medium thickness, not too thick but heels ger warm enough at low temperatures. We've not tested it in proper rain but it held up well during a light shower.

Great coat ...easy on and off ...sturdy ...great for sand coat dogs ..re Sharpei...they're hair is so short it's like velcro on normal fleece lined coats ...which is uncomfortable ...but this coat allows the body to move insude without the hair sticking ...only coat my dig enjoyed wearing and didn't try to rub off

Overall coat is good product; lightweight, and warm. However, the underbelly velcro fastenings kept coming unstuck after 12 wears. We had to add extra velcro to hold in place. This may have been caused by cleaning, but this part of coat gets very dirty especially in bad weather.

It’s a great jacket- good quality and seems warm- the sizing is a bit off though- my dog measured right at the smallest measurements listed for the “small” size - but it only just fits- so if your dog is in the middle/ top end of the band I think you will need to size up! Neck opening is not huge either- so if your dog doesn’t like things going over their head- they won’t love this!

At last one I can adjust to fit. Yet to walk our dog in it but seems OK with it on our tests! Good quality material and construction

Such a top quality coat. Very waterproof! Not only does it keep my rottie dry, it also helps keep her clean. She looks very smart in it too. I love the fact it's reversible. 100% recommend

Buena compra.

Pup likes it. It fits her well and keeps her covered parts warm in <0F, even with wind. It obviously can't do anything for the exposed bits, but that's understood. It goes on very easily with no extra unattached parts to lose or trying to figure out which direction the velcro goes. She doesn't mind that it goes over her head, but she was already used to harnesses doing the same. It seems sturdy and looks like it would clean off with just a wet rag if it gets muddy.

I am thrilled with this coat. The quality is excellent, the fit on my 20lb Pug is perfect,. The cost was reduced to $15.00 due to it being green, I love green! Most of all I am happy because of the great styling, it gives room around the neck and warmth to the tummy, the zipper opening for the harness or collar leash hook is ingenious and it has a lifetime guaranty. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could! 2005. Kurgo honored there lifetime guarantee when the velcro didn't fasten properly. I have a new jacket on the way one day after I applied. Amazing customer service.

Light weight smooth fabric is water resistant. Jacket is easy to put on, made well, good zipper on opening for harness clip on. My 38lb puggle type dog appears comfortable. Size medium fits with plenty of room left over and covers him neck to tail ( with room underneath to pee). For warmth, he can wear the Kurgo dog “sweater” underneath without bulk.
