Works better than helicoils

Great product
I have used Heli Coils for years. Time serts are by far the better of the two. The steel insert that it uses allow for a lot more torque to be applied to them. I build racing engines and they have saved several blocks for me!!!! They are the best. When you buy them make sure to get the full Kit. Nothing but quality in every piece.

These are good!
Much better than the spring-type thread restorers.Great for repairing Harley engine blocks where the long 1/4 x 20 screws pull the threads out of the block. (not due to over-torquing, but due to 3+" of aluminum outer primary cover held by steel screws into an aluminum block. The primary cover expands when hot pulling the threads out. I've used at least 2 dozen of these Time-Serts to repair threaded holes for other people. The kit to do that isn't cheap, but it should last forever.
