This seemed to fit the bill. My hat size is just a hair over 7 3/8 so I wasn't sure whether to order that size or the next one up. Based on reviews and information on other sites, I went with the 7 3/8. Initially it was pretty tight but has since stretched to where it fits comfortably but is tight enough I'm not worried about it blowing off in the wind. I ordered this just after the first of the year 2014. I live in the St. Louis area and we've had a particularly nasty winter. This hat has kept my head nice and warm. Now that it's warmer out, the hat seems to breathe nicely. Not sure how it will do during summer. I regularly get compliments on the hat.
