Works great. I did have a small leak at the brass fitting. Took it apart and used pipe dope on it. Seemed to have stopped the leak. Decent size for rain water irrigation pump.

I bought these to add as inline filters to my washing machine since the sediment from the well would clog the fine screens and make it take forever to fill. Works as expected, seems to have made a big difference.

This hose filter is very useful for screening out grit and such that can clog sprinklers. Be aware that the clear plastic cylinder in which the filter sits weakens so much in sunlight that it eventually breaks off after a season or two of use. It would be helpful to be able to purchase a new cylinder rather than toss out the rest of the unit, but one is not offered.

All OK except for the screens. You know, the part that matters the most. They are very flimsy. No reinforcing on the ends. Not flared at the ends to make it easier to attach. No mating protrusion at the base of the cover. When you remove the screen to clean it, it is very hard to get it to fit over the mating part in the housing. Then it gets deformed when you put the cover on and after that it is useless. I pump water for my garden from a creek, so the filters need cleaning more often than if you are using city or county supplied water. Very disappointed with this product.

If you have a pressure washer and you have a problem with your tips getting clogged you need one of these. Well made and super cheap. Highly recommended.

Filter as described. Ready to use when received, simply attach to the water source and to the hose. The clear sediment bowl makes it easy to see if sediment is accumulating. When disconnected it is easy to drain.
