Holds up after freezing.
I haven't heated these ice packs in the microwave. We use it straight out of the freezer. So far, no leaks. I recommend.

Versatile and cold
This gel pack has been perfect for relief from shoulder pain. It slips easily into a shoulder brace I wear on rough pain days. I like that it is a bit bigger than the one that goes with the brace. I freeze it with a โlipโ turned down so I can hook it into different positions.

I definitely recommend this product!
I love this item so much that I got 2! I injured my shoulder and I rotate them in the freezer. They stay cold for about 35 minutes and help so much with the pain.

These Ice Packs worked out great.

Doesn't last long enough.
Great system, however, even though the gel pack was in the freezer overnight, it warmed fast and had to be changed much sooner than other systems I've used. You really need 3 or 4 gel packs to get any duration of pain relief.

Good
The ice pack is fine, the shoulder pack is a tad difficult to use, meaning to tighten it down. Having to pull the strap to across my chest which ended up being well past my arm pit around to my shoulder blade of unaffected arm. Not easy.

Awesome for the matching wrap!
I bought this to go with the wrap that comes with 1 ice pack. This allows me to have one ice pack in the shoulder wrap and one in the freezer for later! These fit the wrap perfectly and are easy to insert. This stays cold well over 30 minutes. Definitely worth the purchase for post operative shoulder surgery management!

Keeps things cold
This is a gel "refill". I needed an additional ice pack to use after shoulder surgery. With having a second one, I always have a fresh, ice cold, pack ready to use. It stays cold for well over an hour, going on two. I know it can also be heated for use, but I find that very difficult and time consuming to heat it in the microware for 20 seconds at a time, squishing the gel around, and continue heating. I could never get it as hot as I wanted, at it cooled off way to soon. So I give it an A++ for cooling, but a C for heating. I really only needed it for cooling anyway.
