I Love Gabriel/ZuZu Luxe Cosmetics
This eyeliner is perfect. The tip allows for precision application. The formula is just the right thickness, enabling the product to glide on. The natural ingredients are gentle and don't irritate my sensitive skin. The price is reasonable compared to other natural liquid eyeliners. The color I purchased (Tuareg) is exactly what I wanted: a deep, dark brown (the color appears lighter in the product photo, but I trusted the reviewers who noted that it's actually darker).

A good product and good ingredients
Ingredients Water, Sorbitol, Cetyl Alcohol, Iron Oxides, Mica, Jojoba Oil, Bentonite, Bisabolol, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin, Eyebright Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Cellulose Gum, Hectorite, Grapeseed Extract. Let me say this first about this product, it is a great eyeliner. The brush is firm and is fairly easy to apply. It does need a little time to dry, but I donโt think that is much of a problem. It stays on, even when my eyes water, when I sweat and yes, when I cry. I am impressed. Product ingredients. I am very happy with Zuzu Luxe (and the seller) for having a complete list of ingredients. This was one of the reasons why I chose this product. The description states that โ6 gentle and non-irritating linersโฆโ so I checked each of the ingredients and the product rating on EWG.org. EWG.org only had their 2009 formulation, but it matched the ingredient list on Amazon. Here is what EWG.org had to say: The overall score for this product is a โ2โ out of a possible 10. The scale goes from 1 (low hazard) to 10 (high hazard) and the score is averaged on the scores for each ingredient. However, it also indicates that the data collected was limited and information on the potential toxicity for each ingredient was limited. In general, the high concerns listed were enhanced skin absorption, additive exposure sources, persistence and bioacculation. The one ingredient with the highest rating (3) was lecithin. It is shown to have enhanced skin absorbs ion, multiple additive exposure sources and contamination concerns (Nitrosamines-the presence of nitrosating agents) and use restrictions. The data information was listed as โfairโ (โnoneโ meaning there is no scientific literature and โrobustโ meaning there is substantial scientific literature supporting these concerns. A three places in the middle). It was rated as having no potential for allergies and immunotoxicity (but again there was limited data). I usually look at the first three or four ingredients to give me an indication on how safe it is. In this case water, sorbitol, cetyl alcohol and iron oxides have low to moderate health concerns (of course water being benign). Overall, I am satisfied with the products ingredients and that they have a low potential for causing an allergic reaction. That said, each person is unique and while one chemical may not cause problems for one person, it could very well cause an allergic reaction in another. 5 Stars for being honest and having relatively safe ingredients.

Good Ingredients & Actually Works!
I'm always so hesitant buying liquid liners online because you can't tell the quality/viscosity. Also, I found the Zuzu Luxe Liquid Eyeliner while revamping my makeup collection to toxin-free quality ingredients without all the nasty ingredients that, while not good for your skin and eyes, do make makeup really nice. So, with a winning combination of online liquid liner shopping + not crazy ingredients, I honestly didn't have high expectations. But i'm so pleased!! The liner is liquid but not too drippy or messy and actually goes where you want it. And the tip of the applicator is slightly felt tipped so it makes drawing the perfect wing really easy. It also lasts all day beautifully (as long as you don't touch it, because it does smudge. But it is easy to touch up without needing a makeup bag.) I'm very pleased. Would recommend.

I'm in love with da ZUZU
4.5 stars out of 5 for this amazing, pigmented, liquid liner!! I've searched high and low for a matte black liquid liner. I've tried all the drugstore ones, Maybelline Line Stiletto, L'oreal Lineur Intense, ELF, etc. and the closest one for pigmentation was the Lineur Intense, but it had no lastability at all. The Zuzu eyeliner lasts nearly all day for me! I have extremely sensitive/watery eyes but on a good day, this product typically doesn't irritate my eyes or come off. Occasionally though, I find that if I apply too closely to my waterline, the product irritates my eye A LOT and I end up crying off all the eyeliner. I do not recommend this for the waterline at all! At least for people with sensitive eyes like me. But that is A-OK because I usually use a pencil liner on my upper waterline, so not a problem at all. But yeah, the only reason i'm taking .5 off is just because of how irritated my eyes get when it's on the waterline. Other users have complained about it taking forever to dry, but I don't have that problem at all. But then again, "taking forever" is subjective lol :) Best parts of this eyeliner are: - Long lasting - Super SUPER pigmented/black - The brush is AMAZING. Firm yet very flexible and pointed at the tip to create the perfect, sleek cat eye! - AFFORDABLE!!! The quality of this compares to all of the high end stuff but it's about $3-$5 cheaper than it's high end counterparts. Good luck! Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any :)

Great product and great value!
It's a slightly different color than I thought, I was expecting a dark blue (although the description clearly says teal) but it is just as beautiful. I tend to layer, so when I am done I get a lovely deep shade of peacock. I think it is flattering for most people. A little different than the usual black eyeliner (Black Pearl) which I love! This brand of eyeliner is really great, easy to apply, dries quickly, stays in place, and has a precision tip applicator. The formula stays smooth and doesn't get chalky or clumpy which makes sure that your application is as precise as possible. The most natural/vegan line I have seen that also works the best and for a great price! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this brand!

A dream come true!!
I am in LOVE with this eyeliner!! All of my girlfriends always want to know where I get it and Iโve been using this for so long- no other eyeliners compare to this one. The brush is at a perfect point and the eyeliner goes on so smoothly, it has a really nice matte look to it that I adore. It also will last you all day, even if youโre exercising! When you wash it off at night itโs also not difficult to get off, just take a little bit of Johnsonโs baby soap and youโre good to go. Iโve looked forever for a high quality, cruelty free eyeliner and this is the one for me. And it lasts SO long!! You wonโt have to buy another one for at least 3 months! Maybe even longer than that. Itโs a teeny tiny bottle so youโll be surprised that it seems to never go empty. Hope you fall in love with this eyeliner like I did!

perfection! (update- not exactly)
im 40 and this is only my second try at liquid liner! im in love! i wasnt sure i could even apply it right but it was easy as pie. i wont use pencil liners again unless i want to smudge them. this creates a nice line and can be applied either thin or thick. the color is to die for as welll. a nice dark purple that almost reads as a natural brown or black. i dont look good in black liners so this is my black. just more umpth than the daily brown i use. i only use natural organic type products which tend to be pricey but this is affordable and awesome. UPDATE: i realized that the vitamin e used is partially synthetic! so i will NOT use this no matter how much i loved it. tocopheryl acetate causes cancers to become aggresive. they use it because it lasts a long time and keeps costs down. i would pay triple for a truly natural product. i dont use gabriel or zuzu luxe anymore and have switched to safer natural companies like 100 percent pure, vapour, and root pretty.

A Lovely, Organic Option
I have been wearing liquid eyeliner since I started wearing makeup. I love a winged eye! This product gives a deep, dark finish that dries matte and lovely. My co-worker noticed the difference on my first wear and complimented me. The applicator is ideal and the finished product looks great and lasts. The only reason I withheld a star is there is a learning curve to applying this formula to avoid migration of the product to your eye, causing irritation and sometimes starting over with your eye makeup. Since I have started using this, I have had a few sessions of tearing and clean-up after applying. To avoid this, I now wave the wand a bit after removing from the tube to allow it to dry a tad. I also lay down some of the product and let it dry, moving in sections. I think it is a bit wet and small amounts can get in your eye. With this slight application adjustment, I haven't had issues and might consider buying again. UPDATE: The migration into my eyes has not improved. I am often left with burning, tearing eyes and have to clean up my eyes and start over. I have tried several ways to mitigate this issue to no avail. I have NEVER had a liquid eyeliner have this effect. It simply stays wet too long. Once dry, the pigment is fabulous and it applies nicely. If it dried down faster to prevent migration of the product into the eye, I would be totally in love with this product. I so wanted to love this.

Don't like it
Runs and smudges. I used it only once.

Colour: storm.
Incredible. I was spoiled with Prestige liquid eyeliner, so thought there was no hope of ever getting an organic version I would love as much as Prestige. This has proved me wrong. A great eyeliner, beautiful colour and precise application.

Zuzu black pearl eyeliner
I have used Zuzu black liner for so long and have been eagerly waiting for it to be back in stock. In the meantime thought of trying the black pearl shade. The end result is very matt and dull looking shade of black. I have no choice but to use it as the black has not been stocked for so long. Sorry I do not like it and will not be buying this shade again.

Totally fantastic vegan product!
Bought this for my daughter and she loves it - says it is the darkness and best eyeliner she has ever had! Will certainly be a repeat purchase.
