Metallics Permanent Hair Color, M72 Dusty Silver

Was bleaching hair then adding this to take out orange strip next to new root growth and add a bit of ash/platinum. Tried something different last time because bleaching was causing breakage. Used on new root growth too. It worked. This product contains hydrogen peroxide. Will not need to bleach. Hair is growing better again. So it took out orange strip AND beautifully lightened new root growth to an ash brown blonde, so it looks like root growth but lighter and a more natural match to platinum blonde. I may not need to bleach again, just continue to use this product on roots. Be careful on bleached hair this product turns it pretty dark platinum purplish if left for long. It begins lightening with each shampoo though. I've used it as a low light on bleached hair. Adds a nice platinum effect but cover what you want left bleached with conditioner or coconut oil or something and don't leave this product on long.

Love this product. The color is beautiful but it does not last as long as the box says. It will last between 5 to 6 washes and the you’re back to normal.

Product did absolutely nothing. I followed the instructions. No change in color, not even the roots. I'm tired of wasting money on defective products. I got a refund. I was ready to send the used dye back in the box as I will no longer tolerate this. It's not that I didn't get the results I wanted. I just didn't get any results whatsoever.

I started with jet black hair. First I used a color stripper to pull out the black. Then coated my hair with K18 leave in mask. Didn’t wash for three days. This brought my hair to a burnt orange color. Then I used wella developer- a 30- with manic panic bleach. Coated in K18 leave in mask and my hair was lifted to a 9. Again- no washing for three days to allow the hair to rest and let the k18 do its job. Washed finally. Coated again in k18 and waited two days- then applied this hair color. Most importantly- when using got2b- follow the directions. Rinse the color out only- do not use shampoo and conditioner- that’s why so many reviews say the color washed right down the drain. Rinse throughly in cold water- not hot- not lukewarm. Apply the after color conditioner- let it set for the minimum two minutes- I let it set for 5-10. Rinse. Towel dry. I got the exact color on the box the first time around. Here’s the thing- this will not work on hair color any darker than a 7-8. So there’s a lot of reviews that say it’s crap….it's not- if you’re literate. After you’ve towel dried- another healthy coat of k18 won’t hurt. Then again- don’t wash your hair for 72 hours. After processing your follicles are wide open- and using shampoo will take the color right out. Let your natural oils return- use a damn good mask- and follow directions. For 12$ this is the best silver gray I’ve ever used. Will 100% use it again. Have been to numerous salons looking to get my natural gray blended and no one could do it.

Disappointing. It was easy to apply and looked beautifully silver, at first. However, it noticeably faded with each wash. After 2 weeks (about 5 washes), it was completely gone and my hair looked brassy blonde. I have used this brand of hair color before, in amethyst, and it lasted about a month, so I expected the silver to last as long.

Great hair color for transition to nature Grey. Doesnt stay in very long, maybe 2 weeks max. But pretty color.

I've used a lot. Helped growing out and even-ing out hair. I still have one box but don't really need it
