For dental use, waxing dentures or whatever you want to do. You insert the metal instrument, in my case a spatula and it heats it up in 2 seconds, just like a fire would, but to get it real hot keep it for 6 to 7 seconds and it will do the job. I switched from table top torch flame to this electric heater and it works like a dream. It's been half a year and it still does what it has to do. Maybe it heats up instruments a tid slower than a fire would but it's not slow at any rate.

Not sure what the product is actually for but does work great with the dynavap products I searched for a heater that wasn't going to cost over $100 this one was perfect

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this induction sterilizer. Without a doubt, this is my favorite piece of lab equipment. I work with agar, and I dislike using a torch to sterilize my scalpel blades between culture transfers because it leaves charcoal residue on my work. This induction sterilizer works great and within a few seconds my scalpel blades are glowing red, and every trace of my last transfer sizzles away. Save your Butane! I have been using a dynavap as my daily driver for medication delivery for over 2 years. and I have gone through so much butane! I saw this and saw another reviewed saying to use "ddave induction heater mod" So I ordered it from his website too, it was another $15 plus shipping, but well worth it. The good: It works great! Doesn't take up much room on my desk. Perfect even heating of the dynavap chamber. The not so good: The only reason I knocked one star, is the annoying safety on the device, after the device clicks 5 times, the dynavap has still no reached its click temp. So you have to pull it out and put it back again. Sometimes I have had to do this two or even three times to get it to make the dynavap click.. Wish It was a little "less safe." The unit also has a internal cooling fan, it is kinda loud, definitely louder than any laptop I've had, about as loud as a xbox while gaming. If you have been using DYNAVAP for a long time and always wanted a induction heater but they all seem too expensive or out of stock, this is a amazing option! Even after buying the "ddave induction heater mod" this was still way cheaper than buying one made for dynavaps.... And they are always sold out of induction heaters for the dynavap. So this was a awesome find! I could not be happier.

My device didnt work with the dynavap until I strengthened the sensitivity by opening the device and turning the little screw in the middle of the device ontop of a chip. Clockwise to strengthen and visa versa. Works great now.
