WORKS FOR WHAT IT IS NEEDED TO DO.

Please get rid of red dye in meds! Works though
My son just turned 4 & I can finally try some of these medications for older kids. I’m very sensitive to cold medication myself, so I was a little leery about getting this (the guaifenesin, specifically). His dose would be 5mL every 4 hours, so I started with 2.5mL. He did fine, so now I give him 4mL. It’s working! He’s had the most stubborn cold for over a week. Super congested with glue-like snot, and a bad barking cough. By the 3rd dose I was getting a ton of snot out with his snot sucker. His cough is breaking up and he seems to have his energy back. I just wish they’d get rid of red dye (red 40) in medications! It’s not necessary. We try to limit dyes because it affects his behavior, but I didn’t think to check this. Ugh. The flavor is actually pretty good. It tastes a little like watermelon-cherry or something (but has a very medicinal, bitter aftertaste). If you get it, start small to see how it affects your kiddo. 🙃
