HIgh plant protein bar with little fat and low sugar
As a long time vegan who does not eat high glycemic sugars I find this Sticky Cinnamon Roll bar a tasty flavor and treat. It does not have much nutrition (vitamins and minerals) except protein. I am experimenting with extra protein in my diet and have been enjoying several of the flavors of these No Cow bars (Lemon, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip (its current incarnation is really delicious), and Sticky Vanilla Caramel) . I appreciate that they do not have a lot of fat or sugars. I do feel energy and nourished when I eat one on its own. However, I get a lot of nutrition from the other food I eat and do not recommend this as a "nutrition bar" to replace your vegetables and other vitamin and mineral rich foods. So that you are not disappointed I highly recommend that you hold the names of the flavors lightly and do not try to compare them to what you think they should be or have had in other forms, but enjoy them for what they are.

Tastes Like Cinnamon and wet cardboard
I've tasted a lot of vegan foods, but never have I had anything this disgusting. This gross smell hits you the minute you open the package but I still tasted the bar. The bar is the consistency of playdough, not unusual for vegan bars but tastes like wet old cardboard. The cinnamon flavor comes in the aftertaste, cinnamon chalk. I would give -20 stars if I could.

Bar is a perfect meal replacement with high satiety value.
The variety pack needs to have more options!I've finally gone to ordering different flavors and creating my own "variety" pack. Cost wise it's more expensive than other bars where you get 12 bars for the price you're charging for 8. Having said that, however, the quality of the bar (eating plant based now) is excellent with a high protein count (👌 ) and "clean" ingredients. I purchased a lot of these bars and am very pleased overall with the products. The variety pack needs more options that peanut butter variations or have a venue where we can create our own variety of bars.

If eating chalk was good for you
it's basically like eating playdoh. they have almost no detectable flavor and are sort of chalky, melting in your mouth fast. big bites are a terrible idea for this reason. Awful overall experience eating them, but they dont upset my guts and are an easy source of protein i can slowly eat in the morning thru nausea. I'd still rather eat this playdoh bar then another one that's high in sugar.

Great bars, inaccurate calorie info
I love the flavour of all of these bars, and they are great, overall BUT a word of warning, for those counting their calories: the fibre does not cancel out the carbs, period. These bars actually have between about 210 and 240 calories per bar, depending on the flavour. Yes, I know that the FDA counts fibre as 2 calories per gram, and allows manufacturers to count sugar alcohols as 0 calories per gram, but this isn't accurate, given that we don't actually know how many calories the gut can absorb (that said, it does vary from person to person). If you're counting calories, and especially if you're looking to lose weight, the safest way to go about eating these would be to track them very basically: calories = (fat grams)x9 + (carb grams)x4 + (protein grams)x4.

Big disappointment
I’m a big fan of No Cow, I can’t eat dairy, and I really appreciate 20g of plant protein combined with low sugar and good flavors. I’m partial to non-peanut butter and non-chocolate flavors, too. I don’t want a Snickers bar, I want healthy nutrition. And so, I ordered the Iced Gingerbread Cookie bars, a box of 12 for over $30. I’d never had them before, but since I like flavors such as cinnamon roll so much, I figured they’d be great. They are TERRIBLE. They don’t have any vestiges of gingerbread flavor that I can taste, they’re just sweet and bland and yes, chalky. They even leave a bad aftertaste. Very surprised and disappointed, and I’m stuck with 11 more of them. Oh, boy. 0-1 star taste, had to give them 2 stars for 20g of plant protein.

So yummy
It's hard to find a good vegan protien bar that tastes so good. It is soft and the extra fiber in it helps to fill me up and helps me to stay regular. I love these bars because they taste amazing but also are an easy to grab meal/ snack for the day.
