When plants are 4 inches tall, thin. Needs lots of water.

Surprised but pleasantly.
I give these sunflowers a high rating IN SPITE of the fact that the label was a bit misleading. The supposed height was supposed to be 4' to 6'. The plants grew like.....well, sunflowers. I have some photos that I hoped to add but I don't see a way yet. Anyway, currently my tallest plant is 9' 6". I have several others that are at or near 9'. Many others are (as the package said) 4' to 6'. That's the only negative I have. I'm very pleased with them in general. Over 95% grew. The colors are amazing and the do vary from completely yellow to very multicolored (yellow to orange to dark red). I grew these along the outside of the garden, mainly to attract bees (we had so few last year). These things are bee magnets! They are always busy with bees and so is the garden. Also, I enjoy just the appearance. I find myself 'stopped' by them every time I go to the garden. The reason I worried about the height was I didn't want them 'shadowing' the garden and these flowers don't. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'll replant these in the future.

Beautiful
We're spoiled here in California. Most other places the ground hasn't thawed enough to plant. But here, my little seedlings are already about 12" tall and very healthy looking. These seeds grow fast, and it looks like we're going to have quite a beautiful sunflower garden this summer. At the rate they are growing, we should have blooms very soon. Happy planting!

Looks nothing like the packaging advertised
Looks nothing like the packaging advertised, nor does it say Ferry-Morse anywhere. A lot of the seeds were crushed and useless. I will plant what remains and if anything sprouts, I may revise the review, but for now, I am disappointed and feeling duped.

These grew many different and beautiful sunflowers. The flowers attracted lots of birds and bees and grasshoppers and we enjoyed them all summer long. I saved the heads to replant for next year.

Disappointing Results
The seeds did not produce as expected. I am underwhelmed with the results. Oh, well.

Didn't grow
VERY disappointed as my son LOVES sunflowers. These never even started growing :-( Will hurry and try an different brand. I am not a fan of Ferry Morse it seems

Unique Blend
Nice mix...all came up...love different colors...there is a beautiful lemon yellow color in mix.Very Unique blend!
