I purchased my first Medify Air MA-40-B1 V2.0 Air Purifier with H13 HEPA filter on 11/27/20 and received it on 12/04/20. Today is 05/15/21. I have used this product for the past Five (5) months and it has worked perfectly since the day I received it and started using it. I never had any problems. It works perfectly. It is a excellent product. Runs quietly with a very small amount of noise. Actually I put it on one hour setting or the sleep setting in the evening to go to sleep at night. It has a soothing, calming sound. I can watch tv with it on, I can cook with it on, talk on the phone with it on, relax with it on, work on my Lap top with it on. When covid-19 was very bad it kept the air free of germs and pathogens and now that I that have attained my vaccine, and with the states covid -19 status/ratings much better, I can entertain company again (with caution of course) along with my Medify Air MA-40-B1 V2.0 Air Purifier on. I can use this product all the time, Also as the company/Medify Air requires Within 6 months of my purchase (June/2021) or 3,000 hours of use (which ever comes first), I will order a replacement filter. (Your product will let you know when you reach 3,000 hours of use - SEE Manual/Instructions - Booklet that comes with the product) I have already ordered a another Medify Air MA-40-B1 V2.0 Air Purifier on April 3, 2021, and received it on April 6, 2021. I will also write another review on my new one after months of use, although I am confident that it will provide excellent service as the first one has done. ( I am truly considering purchasing two (2) more, for two other rooms). This is a excellent product for anyone that has allergies, Asthma, Hayfever, with itchy watery eyes or that has a problem with pollen, dust particals, cooking odors (especially fish and/or Garlic), or if you have pets, or if you just want clean fresh smelling, purified air. I purchased this air purifier to cleanse the air from the Covid-19 virus particles. I live in an apartment and after reading that those particles can pass from one apartment to another via the air duct system, I searched Amazon and found this was the only one with a filter that removes particles smaller than the Covid-19 virus. It's easy to operate, simple to figure out. The quietness of the fan is superb and you have 4 speeds on the ones I purchased. On the small ones, the air flow comes out the front and intake is on the sides. They have 3 fan speeds, a 4-setting timer, a child lock, and a 4 setting dimmer for sleeping at night. The larger ones have 4 fan speeds, airflow out the front and intake at the back, 4-setting timer and a child lock, and an ionizer setting. I also have asthma and in a recent move to the Denver area, it has made such a difference in being able to breathe comfortably by clearing out my apartment from pollution and forest fire smoke, however slight. I get asthma coming and going outside the apartment, when I come home, within 20-30 minutes, have forgotten that I even have asthma. Five stars in every category. I recommend these air purifiers and feel more protected from Covid-19 than I would without them. Well made, solid construction, too. Worth the money!

I developed allergies to our dog while working from home during the pandemic. Go figure as I've been tested twice for allergies and never registered allergies to dogs, just cats. Getting rid of our pup was *not* an option. I'm already on daily allergy medication; so I decided to get an air purifier. I researched many models and features and settled on this Medify model for several reasons: 1) highly rated; 2) multi-layer filter that can handle pollen, dust, and germs in addition to dander; 3) its CFM rating because we needed a purifier powerful to handle the square footage of our old home's high ceilings and open plan; 4) 3 settings plus a bedtime setting that turns off the unit's lights; 5) reviews that stated it's lowest setting wasn't overly loud; 6) ionizer that we can turn off when we're home since ionizers can produce harmful ozone indoors; and 7) has a timer, although we haven't used it yet. So far, this air purifier is meeting our needs very well. We run it almost constantly. I'm no longer sneezing and tearing up when our dog is in the house, and my allergy symptoms are under control again. I run it on the low setting when we're home and turn it to the high setting (because it's loud on that setting) when we're going out. It took a little while to adjust to the white noise the purifier makes at its low setting. The filter collects a lot of dust, and did a good job removing odor from the house when I burned something in the kitchen. Hoping it lasts for the long haul.

First off: This thing works like advertised! Great purifier and air cleaner at relatively small noise ‘cost’. I bought two a couple years ago but only used one and it cleaned a 400 sq/ft living room/dining room quickly and efficiently. Several different fan speeds (and subsequent sounds), plus an ioniser and childproof button system to keep the toddlers from screwing with the controls. We moved to a biiger apartment (growing family) and during the recent NYC bad air days due to the wildfires in Canada, I started using the second one. Both were very quiet and took the burning smell out of the air. BUT—the second one that I had only recently started using stopped working for some reason…the fan was stuck and not increasing volume/speed to accompany the different modes. Anyway, I called customer service who made me take a video of the issue..send it..only to say that because i didn’t replace my filters often enough with ‘medify certified’ filters (even though i bought Medify filters from amazon) that my fan was not under warranty. I tried to explain that i didn’t replace the filters often enough (they want to receipts of filter purchases, btw) because I had never used the filter until recently....but they said i was not eligible for replacement. Honestly, i just wanted them to help me fix it…. Anyway, they ‘let’ me buy a new one at a discount—but because their site has a markup it wound up being same price as what you get on amazon. Bottom line: 1. Great air filter..quiet, super cleans air, ionizes, etc.. 2: if you buy it, remember to buy medify official filters (at a markup of course) and save the receipts. 3: don’t expect good customer service.

It becomes white noise very quickly. We have a 3100 sqft house. We bought the 2 pack for a nice deal. About 150 each total. Two pack is a better value for sure. Put one up stairs and one down stairs in the most open areas. I love to crank them both up to high and let them cycle the air in about 2 hours or so. Whole house. Many guests have, upon walking in, notice how “clean” the air feels. We leave it running on low but tend to let it run before bed time on max. You won’t regret it, if you have thing about loud fans, then maybe it’s not for you.

I purchased one, then another and finally ended up with buying a total of 5 for family. My first one is 1 1/2yrs old & still works well. However, I use it as needed especially before, during & after guests visit. The holiday gatherings went smoothly, everyone stayed well. I like the black and the child lock. I have not used sleep mode or timer. Yes there is noise but I find it tolerable on high until we have company & I turn it down. It does blow cool air so the room feels cooler. However, the room feels fresher & air easier to breathe. It does seem to clear air of strong odors so far. I did a lot of research & have found the H13 True HEPA filter is the best. I do recommend this purifier.

Where do I start with how awesome this unit is. I ordered my unit from the Amazon page for Medify air and immediately received a tracking code. Within three days my MA-40 and MA-25 were out for delivery. I cannot believe how great these purifiers work. We set the 40 up in our living room and the 25 up in our bedroom. Within 30min we most definitely noticed a difference in the air quality in the house. Before having these we would wake up with headaches or stuffy noses and we haven’t had a single problem like that since the day we plugged them in. The filters are absolutely amazing ans the sleep / whisper mode you can barely hear them. I love the auto off timer feature so it will shut down at the preset time you select. Again I cannot say enough good things about these! I also wanted to call out the superior customer service team at Medify. I had to call to order some filters and they had me taken care of within minutes and also gave a promotional special since it was my first time reordering filters. I did extensive research before selecting a air purifier and Medify’s products are superior in every department. If you really want a solid unit that will last a lifetime this is what you need to buy. Today in the mail I got a letter from the CEO stating these have a life time warranty which was the icing on the cake when I decided on Medify. I just opened and set up my new MA-40. It was the only unit I could find that offered above average reviews and has a smooth top. Most brands blow filtered air out of the top which may be optimal for some people, but I wanted to put my alarm clock on top. This one blows air out of the sides which is fine for me. The air does feel colder when you walk by, but again, ok with me and since I like to sleep cool and I have it in my bedroom, all the better! It is a bit loud on the higher settings - maybe like a bathroom fan loud (good white noise for some?), but I plan to run it continuously, so the low setting suits me. You can hear it, but it is not distracting. We'll see how it performs, but am trusting mine will be as good as prior reviews offer. It is not on casters, but has a handy handle on the back and is light enough to move around.
